Managed to get through 150 years of football without stopping the game, I don't know why it's suddenly necessary. I can understand stopping the game if we’ve got CPR going on not far from the pitch (and potentially a viewing TV audience), but that isn’t the case for the majority. Guy won't remember this match when his children ask about it. Morocco down to Malawi, with the increased strength of minnows, equalising factors of poor pitch/conditions and general underperformance of the bigger sides, there is a lot of room for big upsets in African football now.
