Wolves 1-1 Newcastle United - 25/10/20

We're doing really well here to have absolutely no one nearby when we're on the ball, wherever we are on the pitch. Takes some skill.

It takes instruction tbh, players are clearly told to sit back and not make any forward runs ahead of the ball.

Seems to be the case even when we're deep though

Well it must be instruction, doesn't matter which players are on the pitch we end up playing the same way.

It's funny to watvh. The players have no clue what to do when in posession and just wing it. To me that looks like the main reason why they can't string more than two passes together. There's no recognized pattern of play. The players with the ball have no idea where team mates are, will be or what runs they are likely to make.
