Always forget he played for us in these type of discussions. Goals record pretty similar but Cole's record 1994 to 2001 was 1 in 2 and his 34 goals wipes the floor with Owen's best return. cubaricho Posted March 4, 2021 Share Posted March 4, 2021 Favourite PL XI could be more interesting maybe Can't be assed to do a whole team, but the players that I have really loved to watch during the PL off the top of my head that weren't necessarily "elite" but I loved watching on the pitch were players like; Riise, Berbatov, Nobby, Viduka, Kranjčar, Kanu. The Prophet Posted March 5, 2021 Share Posted March 5, 2021 Centre half is a total toss up with Bruce, Pallister, Adams, Campbell, Ferdinand, Terry, Carvalho, Kompany all in with a decent shout. I have no doubt in a few years we'll be talking about VvD and Dias too. Vidic too I guess he should be in the conversation, I thought he was carried by Ferdinand a fair bit and really struggled against anyone with a bit of pace. Stam should be on there. Yorke was just as good a signing as Stam and always gets forgotten about. He got about 30 goals the year we won the treble and was our top scorer in Europe.
