Guest
City winning tonight won't do us any harm.
AyeDubbleYoo
Our big problem is there's nobody else involved down there. Having seen the fixtures again I don't see us finishing above both Norwich and Sunderland. I had us staying up if won 3 including today. I was fairly realistic with the other games I think, Norwich and Sunderland aren't going to be winning many.
loki679
I think Sunderland might pull a couple of unexpected results out.
timeEd32
Don't underestimate the confidence the team will get from that result. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Where did you send that post from and what software did you use? Asked nobody ever I don't know why Tapatalk started adding that s***. Tbh i'm not sure why it pisses me off so much Just went and turned the signature off so you'll never see it again from me.

nufcjmc
if we lose to city and to liverpool which is likely i wonder how likely we are to still get out of the shit as much as the win was great today out of the three teams "in it" we have the worse goal difference and the lowest number of points still a 9.5 for me

Guest
We were 7/1 to stay up before the Norwich game kicked off, it's 9/4 now.
frankpingel
One of the three is going to pull an unexpected win from somewhere. We've our two opportunities for it to be us this week.
Wullie
We'd be sitting (relatively) pretty if we hadn't been so utterly stupid and conceded that Olsson goal at Carrow Road.
JH
One of the three is going to pull an unexpected win from somewhere. We've our two opportunities for it to be us this week. Still an 8 for me, but at the moment we are just as likely as the other two to pull off a 'shock result'. Could go either way.
Ronaldo
It's an 8 for me. I think 8 more points will keep us up but I look at that team and wonder where 2 wins and 2 draws will come from.
Guest
That is a big help going into Tuesday if they have a cushion in 4th spot concentrating on Real Madrid.
sempuki
We'd be sitting (relatively) pretty if we hadn't been so utterly stupid and conceded that Olsson goal at Carrow Road. Losing to the last touch of the game against Everton hasn't helped too.

I get what you are both saying narrow margins and a few unfair calls we may have had a few extra points and a better goal difference but ultimately there have been plenty of down right dog shit performances to say on balance if we were to ultimately go down it would be our own fault and by "our" I mean the player and coaches and talent or lack there of bought in the last two windows. If we stay up big changes are needed I hope they finally realise that the money coming into the league means that no team what stays here for more than a season can be considered a minow and easy pickings this side has alot of bagage again, alot of dead weight and a lot of talent holes that need plugging shame some of the players we dont want to see next season are not at the end of their contracts and few people will be chomping at the bit to buy them. Guest
The Coloccini red card (which was proven to be wrong by the decision to rescind it), and Olsson's goal....
Guest Hog
Too late, we're still going down. One win isn't going to save us and that's all we're going to get under Rafa sadly.
Guest firetotheworks
I think we'll possibly finish above Norwich, but I can't see us finishing about Sunderland. Them having Defoe is a massive advantage over us.
Guest
We say that, but it's only a 2 point difference at the end of the day. We're obviously not that much worse.
samptime29
Thought we were down, but no doubt today's results have given us at least a chance. The big swing on goal difference is certainly a positive. Could we win 3 from the last 5? Difficult but might be enough.
