Has there ever been any other club who've effectively relegated themselves for no reason at all? It's honestly feels as if we've just done it for a laugh.

 

lee did it to have a good looking balance sheet when the performance reviews came round

Really we need to go down for the sake of football. To show you can't treat the sport with absolute contempt and get away with it.

Depends on mackem match now, they're only ones we can stay above. If they win today we're fucked. If they lose we'll probably be okay.

We've just given them all the motivation they need.

The board treat the sport with utter contempt, the manager isn't for for purpose and the players don't give a single percent of a shit. We deserve to go down. Only a run of form - completely out of nowhere - from one player will have saved us.

Definitely smashing through the meter today for me now.  How can anyone have any belief we're getting more points?  We're probably the worst side in the top two leagues right now and that is perhaps being generous.  I wouldn't trust us to get a result against Blackpool right now.

Pretty much bang-on. This anti-competitive club deserves a long stint in the sport's wilderness, aka the lower leagues.
