It's over. A draw today wouldn't have been good enough but it could have been a catalyst for better. Losing like that is a killer.

Definitely. Losing in that manner is just another nail into the player's self belief and basically the final one. Absolute miracle to stay up now, Norwich are 4 points ahead of Sunderland and 6 ahead of us, so even next week nothing will change.

what's absolutely shocking is the dreadful quality of the league this season.

Leicester are winning it ffs (rightly they are the best fucking team)

Stoke are having their best ever season even though they seem to lose every fucking week

Man U are in contention for europe despite looking about as useful as us

West Brom are comfortably staying up

11 fucking bricks could have stayed up this season. We have failed spending ludicrous money. Everyone at the club at every level, except maybe the cleaning staff, deserve to be sacked and chased out of town.

The only two games we absolutely HAD to turn up to and our so called committed players didn't bother for the first 45 minutes.

For all the 12th man bollocks they spew maybe the players should start paying (reimbursing) the only team member that turns up out of their own pocket.

For the amount of years we have been plastered with quotes about "buying the right characters" we have a team of possibly the worst for making an effort.

Next seasons Premier league should have been the best ever with Pep, Jose, Klopp and the cash that will be flying around to bring in the best players. Ashley has done himself in here with both us and sports Direct.

Its a crying shame that the Premier league will have Stoke, Bournemouth, WBA, Watford, Swansea, Palace, Norwich, Burnley and Brighton

Actual competitive football clubs you mean?

What was Leicester's record when they started to go on that run last season? How many points and games did they have?

At this stage they were only 3 points back (with a game in hand, as we have) and had just won 2 in a row.

We've won 7 of our last 42 league games and now need to win at least 4 from 7.

We're done. Finished. It's over. Won't even be close, we'll be at least 6 points adrift by the end of the season.

After 31 games last season Leicester were exactly the same as us right now.

6 W, 7 D, 18 L on 25 points.

However they were only 3 points away from safety with 1 game in hand, whereas we are 6 points away.

We beat Southampton and Man City at home and we're back on but anything less that that and we're down.

I think we all know what will happen  :(

Possibly.............. however I wont be rushing home from work to watch WBA v Burnley on a monday night.

I'm obviously just jealous but its a shame that the championship will contain a lot bigger clubs than the Premiership.
