I see David Hopkinson has done a thing for the foundation around mental health day. Nothing remarkable, but nice to see he's easing into being a public presence for the club.

Could have got better value signing a deal with a financial services company that no-one's heard of from somewhere that no-one's heard of rather than a household name like Visa.

I've done some research and there's a crypto organisation I've seen in Central America who are completely off the radar but have great stats. Why aren't we signing them up as sponsors rather than a proven company like Visa.

Am raging at this Visa news.

  • 2 weeks later...

Been wondering what a different assistant coach could do. Someone tasked with getting 2 of the best midfielders in the Prem to have an affect through the middle.

Want EH to stay, obvs but was thinking some new ideas might help us evolve some.

This could provide an opportunity.

Could also set us back for all I know….

Be surprised if he left at this stage of his career. Job is safe enough here.

He'd be doing both Newcastle and Sweden wouldn't he? (Assumption made without reading the article)

He juggled Newcastle and international for England under Southgate. Or was that the Euros only?

The role for 55-year-old Jones would likely be part-time initially as Potter's contract runs until March with an option to extend should they qualify for the World Cup.

I still think back to when he first came in and giving a talk to the players on the pitch while Steve Bruce stood off to the side looking completely cucked.

There was no way he was involved in that decision.
