The only major criticism that I’ve had for weeks is Wilson getting game time over Osula. Also think we need to just bring Isak off earlier as he’s clearly not fit / carrying an injury. There’s no way Wilson should be seeing twenty mins of football regularly

Its been the same voices since day one, not saying either of JT or GJ should go but I'd like to see an alternative voice to bring some freshness.

The current coaching setup has us top 4 and a trophy in the bag. What takes us to a title challenge is a 3-4 purples.

And got a decent point at a tough away ground, and are two wins from qualifying for the champions league. All this whilst not improving the first team in two years.

I'll kms if we don't get CL, but imagine you were told before the season starts we'll win the League Cup against the best team in the country, and that with 3 games to go CL football was in our hands.

The one thing i think we can see is we need some new players, that really will freshen up the squad.

The fact we've been unable to because of some shitty anti competitive rules is shameful, but for Eddie to do as well as he has is amazing, a few mad hatters some on seem oblivious to that.

 

The mental comments on here are just that, mental. Some of them have just been completely insane, infuckingsane.

To be clear the comment wasn't in relation to today.

 

Look at someone like Fergie, he was constantly bringing in a new voice and new ideas to make sure he was keeping the squad ahead of the game.

 

I don't think it's as simple as adding 3 players into the squad to give is another 20 points (which is likely what would be needed to challenge for the title). In fact I think with the current squad another view could well have brought us 5-10 extra points this year

I find this a mental take. We've got 11 or 12 good purples and the rest are unproven or poor

 

Bringing an extra coach thinking we'd get possibly 10 extra points is delusional

I honestly couldn't care less. Win, lose or draw. We won a cup. Nothing else matters this season. No fucks given.

yeah.. we took a while to really hit form, probably towards November. it’s turned out to be an amazing season whatever happens. makes you think .. a few additions that hit the ground running and this team could seriously do great things

After that wobble where Eddie was getting questioned by a lot of people (myself included) he's answered by getting a trophy, and having CL in our hands. I had long given up on CL, in fact it didn't even enter my thoughts for a long time. So, while today is frustrating, (as always against that fucking club), this is still an amazing season and Eddie has done a ridiculously good job with such a thin squad. Desperately hope he's backed in the summer.

Haven't seen anyone questioning Eddie, but that's because I haven't been looking. Crazy if people are getting that upset by today's result.

 

It's a pity, but we're a very good team with clearly the best manager out of the remaining 3 opponents we have and a huge amount still to play for - we're 1/4 on with the bookies still apparently. This is strictly not the time to panic.
