It’s a culmination of getting pretty much every big decision wrong since finishing 4th. That summer window was poor and it’s only gotten worse since then. We are regressing and I can’t see any way it gets better under Howe.

The second half was no different than West Ham or Palace. 
 

I don’t know why we’re so inconsistent but it’s becoming hard to defend. Seems like our best players motivate themselves when they feel like it. That is a big problem.

First time I've starting thinking about his future. We are just waaaaaaayyyyy too inconsistent. We've not had champs league and the bench hasn't been bad all season. Not saying sack yet but next few weeks are crucial.

I'm not like massively arsed by the league position, the season is gone already - but the lack of improvement in performances is grim. 

 

Bit miffed at Eddie for potentially blowing his time here. Bit miffed at the players for not having more effort, if they're still backing the manager.

It’s not a bad squad to be fair, certainly better than it’s showing at the moment.

Maybe, but you surely at least have the try and get someone better in.

Absolutely fucking awful from Howe today.

 

He cannot seem to motivate the players any more for anyone outside of the top 4-5 teams in the league.

 

Yet again, completely reactive subs and 60th minute....at least give the subs a chance instead of dropping them right in it. BE PROACTIVE.

 

Still hasn't solved our defence, massive midfield gaps and how easy it is to attack us and it's been a good year or so now.

What we really need is two or three additions in January. The problem is, thanks to our PSR position, we can't do that without selling one of our best players.

 

This is why managers ultimately get binned off, it's easier/cheaper than large scale player turnover. I'm not saying it's right, but we've got three big games coming up and if we don't get the results we need our season could be effectively over before Christmas.

Think it's not working with the players now sadly. They'll probably need something fresh and new to take them to perform at the next level.

 

Really pains me to say it's not going to get any better under Eddie now.
