Strongly back him

Still back him for now

Open to change end of season

Strongly think he should go

If they’re the options, think it’s heavily clumped in the middle too, with more still backing, but the open to change starting to have more.

I don’t strongly think he should go and open to change end of the season isn’t a fair representation either.

‘Would replace him now if an elite manager is willing and available’ is the option.

A poll might be pretty interesting, think it would be quite close to those wanting him out or not.

This country voted for Brexit. America has just voted in Trump, for a second time. We gave the Tories 14 years.

Forgive me for not giving a shit what a poll says.

Bit different when we all want the same thing, like.

My take on it is if we’re not going to make significant signings in January, make a managerial change because he’s take this group of players as far as he can.
if we plan to sign no one or we can’t sign anyone, we need fresh ideas and a new direction to inject some life into the existing squad.

Really don't get how you can watch football your whole life and still be so short-sighted to think everything that will happen by May is written by the end of November like. Happens season after season.

I think that would be fair if we didn't have evidence of the last year and a bit of dreadful away performances without looking like we're improving at all

Aye but there are tons more factors involved than away performances. Just with us alone never mind other teams, and with other things to pin the blame on never mind just Howe.

Really doubt we going to make big signings in January, we need to have a war chest ready if we are going to attract a top manager incase Eddie needs to go.

Yes or no, do we finish top 6 this season? Answer with your brain.

No .  There's a degree of recency bias of course in my reply but there's too many performances where we're not playing well and not getting the results against supposedly inferior teams. Add to that the manager seems inflexible with tactics that aren't really working and players are generally playing worse than they were. I hope I'm wrong and maybe a returning Botman, some clever transfer business and the fact that barring Liverpool every team seems dogged by inconsistency might mean we put together a run in last few months but at the moment it's very much one step forward two back .

Only one thing for it then. He’s not going to miraculously turn us into a crack unit. We look out of ideas

Does PSR affect managers wages if not get the best there is. Fuck it.

It does, both paying a manager off when sacking them and finding agreement for the replacement, although you would expect the latter to be spread over the length of contract, like a transfer fee.

If you take yourself out the echo chamber some stick themselves in online he’s really not “that” close to being sacked.

some folks online just become conditioned to their environment and think it to be reality.

None of us have any clue what HE and the rest of the ownership actually want and how they’re feeling about our stagnation / regression.

If I was the board I’d be inclined to stick with him until the end of the season, then if we fail to get Europe, call it and bring in someone else.

Downside, the big names will probably want to go elsewhere. Fine. But the positive from that is the new manager coming in will be able to lead a rebuild with players who fit his new system.

Performances have been undoubtedly poor and it does feel very stale, but being trigger happy at this point in the season doesn’t favour anyone.

I think if you have a decent clutch of brain cells common sense would say he’s a fair bit to go before he’s sacked

I get it though people read it so much online they talk themselves into it being truth that he’s a manager close to the sack

It’s like we try and do the City thing and pass it to death into the net without the end product.

It’s even more mad considering how bad we are at passing a ball in forward areas.
