Ronaldo Posted Saturday at 22:17 Share Posted Saturday at 22:17 Very happy for him today. Up against a poor side but we were smart and patient.
Nine Posted Saturday at 22:35 Share Posted Saturday at 22:35 Leicester were absolutely useless but we did what we had to do today, not much else to say really.
Kid Icarus Posted Saturday at 22:46 Share Posted Saturday at 22:46 Maybe I'm talking shite but I think West Ham and Brighton were also absolutely shite for a lot of it and we came unstuck, so I'm very happy that we made them pay, just as we could have in those matches. Smal Posted Saturday at 22:52 Share Posted Saturday at 22:52 No, West Ham were definitely terrible, you’re right. Brighton weren’t as bad but weren’t good.

Absolutely, especially West Ham. The idea their performance was something to be happy about was silly.
Kid Icarus Posted Saturday at 22:57 Share Posted Saturday at 22:57 Fine lines and all that. Looking at how tight the league is, you get the feeling fans of other teams are thinking the same.
Smal Posted Saturday at 22:59 Share Posted Saturday at 22:59 I don’t even think Liverpool are very good to be honest . Everyone is shite this year.

Smal Posted Saturday at 23:03 Share Posted Saturday at 23:03 it would be quite enjoyable if we were 4th and not 11th really

AyeDubbleYoo Posted Saturday at 23:07 Share Posted Saturday at 23:07 I still hope Chelsea will implode but I think the manager is ruthless enough to just dispose of anyone who rocks the boat.
Pokerprince2004 Posted Saturday at 23:07 Share Posted Saturday at 23:07 Makes it more frustrating that we have been well below what we're capable of, we could easily be in 2nd place

A lot of sides have technical quality and consistently play at a high tempo.

JEToon Posted Saturday at 23:26 Share Posted Saturday at 23:26 Often read people saying we will turn a corner, I don’t know, it feels like to me people who say that haven’t been watching much, it’s just going to be sticky most of the season, it always is in the league really depending on how your fixtures break. I think the idea we are for instance going to go on a run of 4 games with wins in the league looking at our upcoming fixtures is a bit deluded, we likely won’t. We then after Spurs away have a run when you’d like expect points to be collected. It’s hard to go on a run of form due to the number of good sides in the league and how fixtures break, we just need to keep points ticking over at a consistent rate, it was the issue with the block of 4 games just gone. Yeah, I think others raising their game explains as much as anything, technically, tactically etc. Can't just mash the work harder cheat button and overawe most teams. alexf Posted Saturday at 23:44 Share Posted Saturday at 23:44 Yeah this game proved nothing to me really. We still missed a boat full of good chances that we should be scoring, but Leicester were so poor that we simply had so many chances that we couldn't keep missing. Positives were the set piece routines coming off nicely. The overall balance of the side was good, and the energy was generally there. Isak in particular was pretty unplayable at times with his assists to Murphy. But we were untested going the other way and like I say, still abit wasteful with our finishing as we have seen in other games. So could easily see us come unstuck against Ipswich and with Joelinton getting a needless ban lets hope Willock is ready to step in and is injury free after Brentford. It's why I don't feel any negative towards Howe even when we have been inconsistent, because it does feel more that the players just have been hit and miss this year more than anything Howe is getting horribly wrong. Good performance overall though and nice to see a one sided home win.
Zero Posted Sunday at 01:53 Share Posted Sunday at 01:53 I don’t think we turned a corner but I would say we earned the chance now. Hope Eddie make it
Decky Posted Sunday at 02:44 Share Posted Sunday at 02:44 Only 2 points from the top 6. Just goes to show we'd be doing very well for ourselves if we just start winning games that we should be winning.
kingxlnc Posted Sunday at 08:20 Share Posted Sunday at 08:20 It’s one of those seasons where dropped points will really come back to haunt you. just the two points from holding on at Crystal Palace would be significant right now. never mind the Everton missed pen. Four points would have us top 5. then factor in West Ham at home… definitely could be 2nd or 3rd right now. weve had a good fixture list so it’s definitely been a poor season so far. I do hope things get more consistent from Here on in as I do think we can finish top 4 easily if we sort ourselves out.

I think most teams from around 12th think they can qualify for CL, but get your point. It's a very tight league this season.
