Maybe I'm talking shite but I think West Ham and Brighton were also absolutely shite for a lot of it and we came unstuck, so I'm very happy that we made them pay, just as we could have in those matches.

Absolutely, especially West Ham. The idea their performance was something to be happy about was silly.

I don’t even think Liverpool are very good to be honest . Everyone is shite this year.

Feel exactly the same. Feels like these seasons happen then you have ones where everyone's insanely good. Liverpool finishing 2nd on 97 points

Nah, it’s a very good competitive league this year. Forest are the anomaly, obvs.

Fulham? Bournemouth? Villa have been poor every time I’ve watched them this season and they’re 6th.

Nobody is convincing me Chelsea are good, either

Makes it more frustrating that we have been well below what we're capable of, we could easily be in 2nd place

22/23 us would be there but Liverpool and Forest aside everyone seems to be having a strange season

Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa all in CL top 5 suggests they’re not shit, mind. I genuinely think it’s a good league this year. A lot of sides have technical quality and consistently play at a high tempo.

I didn't see the first half, but they got stronger as the game went on in the second half, and we got progressively worse.

Often read people saying we will turn a corner, I don’t know, it feels like to me people who say that haven’t been watching much, it’s just going to be sticky most of the season, it always is in the league really depending on how your fixtures break.

I think the idea we are for instance going to go on a run of 4 games with wins in the league looking at our upcoming fixtures is a bit deluded, we likely won’t.

We then after Spurs away have a run when you’d like expect points to be collected.

It’s hard to go on a run of form due to the number of good sides in the league and how fixtures break, we just need to keep points ticking over at a consistent rate, it was the issue with the block of 4 games just gone.

Yeah, I think others raising their game explains as much as anything, technically, tactically etc. Can't just mash the work harder cheat button and overawe most teams.

Yeah this game proved nothing to me really. We still missed a boat full of good chances that we should be scoring, but Leicester were so poor that we simply had so many chances that we couldn't keep missing.

Positives were the set piece routines coming off nicely. The overall balance of the side was good, and the energy was generally there. Isak in particular was pretty unplayable at times with his assists to Murphy.

But we were untested going the other way and like I say, still abit wasteful with our finishing as we have seen in other games. So could easily see us come unstuck against Ipswich and with Joelinton getting a needless ban lets hope Willock is ready to step in and is injury free after Brentford.

It's why I don't feel any negative towards Howe even when we have been inconsistent, because it does feel more that the players just have been hit and miss this year more than anything Howe is getting horribly wrong.

Good performance overall though and nice to see a one sided home win.

It’s one of those seasons where dropped points will really come back to haunt you.

just the two points from holding on at Crystal Palace would be significant right now.

never mind the Everton missed pen. Four points would have us top 5.

then factor in West Ham at home…

definitely could be 2nd or 3rd right now.

weve had a good fixture list so it’s definitely been a poor season so far.

I do hope things get more consistent from Here on in as I do think we can finish top 4 easily if we sort ourselves out.

I think most teams from around 12th think they can qualify for CL, but get your point. It's a very tight league this season.
