Kid Icarus Posted Tuesday at 22:41 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:41 That Bournemouth lad was absolutely spot on about him getting things clicking and then going on mad runs.

Dokko Posted Tuesday at 22:43 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:43 Really hope the club can find him another couple of players to assist him. For me focus has probably shifted from cb to striker, with rw 2nd. Even one fwd comfortable upfront and on the wing would really help him out. 54 Posted Tuesday at 22:44 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:44 When was the last time we won 7 games in row btw? I had a look and we didn't do it two years back, so I'm guessing it must have been in Sir Bobby? Incredible stuff.

Nine Posted Tuesday at 22:46 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:46 (edited) We were all asking questions back in October, because we were legitimately not playing well. A few of us including myself were frustrated at Howe not incorporating Tonali into the side at that point but again, he’s proven that he was right to integrate him in the way he did. He’s come into the team seamlessly and hit the ground fucking sprinting, allowing Bruno to move up is the icing on the cake. A lesson learnt again, and we will hit rough form in the future. Actively wanting him gone at any point was madness (Mourinho ), but it’s the way emotion goes for some. Probably our best run so far under him? Coming from looking poorly coached up until Tonalis inclusion it’s incredible work. Edit: also, I’m not sure I’ve ever witnessed a manager capable of maximising what he gets out of fairly limited players quite like Howe does. sempuki Posted Tuesday at 22:47 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:47 It's an amazing turnaround as we were legitimately shite in some games. He really knows what he's doing.

Exactly, he can only do so much with what he has before hitting the limit. Obviously FFP steps in a kicks us in the knackers. He's a bit of a miracle worker like and this run is amazing
Ellis H Posted Tuesday at 22:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:49 Bromley, Wolves, Bournemouth, Southampton and Fulham up next with only Southampton being away. Could realistically win all of them.

Recon it could by the time we have played wolves though, some ones due a spanking this season. 4:0 Bromley 6:1 Wolves

I thought earlier in the season we looked confused, but this is clearly what Howe was building towards.
nemtizz Posted Tuesday at 22:53 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:53 Feel like he should have tried Tonali as a 6 alot sooner (completely understand if they were bedding him in slowly and building up to it in training) but we sacrificed a decent amount of points playing Longy ahead of him, however our form of recent is bigger than that one positional switch. Could not be happier for this man.
Geogaddi Posted Tuesday at 22:54 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:54 Do people think the turnaround in form is really as simple as Tonali moving deeper? Seems madness that we have improved so much in just one month due to such a small tactical tweak, surely must be other factors at play .
mighty__mag Posted Tuesday at 22:54 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:54 Amazing what he's acheived with this squad, no disrespect to Murphy and Burn, but it's this man's coaching that's keeping them at this level, I don’t think anywhere else under any other manager they're acheiving the levels they have both got to. It's interesting now for Eddie, because it's now fair to say he's got the choices to select the best possible team given the fact all key players are available, there's only Murphy and Burn I see as weakest in the starting eleven, and that sounds harsh especially for Burn as he's arguable not put a foot wrong, but going off quality and who would likely be your back four, it's obvious for me, I'd be going (Liv Bot Schar Hall) Midfield picks itself, Left picks itself, Striker no questions. So right wing takes us to a new level, if we invest with an elite. Good times are here again.
