Not a bloke to take an absolute hammering on the chin and shrug his shoulders and go on about dust, unlike a few of our past managers.

If you want to take it that literally then fine, carry on. My initial post was meant to be synonymous with the other tongue-in-cheek "here for the Howe Out!" type posts. Theregulars Posted Saturday at 15:14 Share Posted Saturday at 15:14 Looked knackered, played badly, just have those games sometimes where you get hammered when every thing the other team tries comes off. Reminded me of when we lost 3-0 at Villa in the 4th season, just couldn't lay a glove on them. Fair play. Still back us to finish above them.

LiquidAK Posted Saturday at 15:15 Share Posted Saturday at 15:15 (edited) Like it's completely rational to be fucked off with that result and performance, but the desperation from some to catastrophise every time the team has a bad result is utterly tiresome. It's exhausting when we're having a normal run, it's especially embarrassing when we've just won 9 in a row and sit in 4th. It's just so transparent that some have been sat waiting for a slip so they can blow their misery loads. It's going to get called out because it's fucking laughable Edited Saturday at 15:15 by LiquidAK

The Bonk Posted Saturday at 15:18 Share Posted Saturday at 15:18 Really proud of what we did up to this match and Eddie for taking us on that run. He looked quite frustrated on the touch line today and justifiably so. Poor guy must be having nightmares about facing his old team.

STM Posted Saturday at 15:24 Share Posted Saturday at 15:24 Not a criticism but in hindsight we should have played a low block and played on the counter. Very hard to get away with at SJP though. I actually think we looked knackered. Whether it was physical or mental, I dont know.

I started doubting his ability to turn it around after Brentford. Then we hit a 9 game winning streak after making a fair few tweaks. He will be fuming about how bad we looked and how we seemed incapable of beating their press or having any meaningful possession leading to chances.
