 who the fuck are you?

Someone with a memory and ability to see particular results in the round, oh and take a bit of disappointment without chucking my toys out of the pram. Seems many can’t.

He's allowed to be criticised, he talks about intensity is our identity, attacking football etc then we play like fucking cowards, no bite no fight should be our identity right now. It will change, he may leave and have faith we will build but he's picking these players, setting the tactics and not really evolving our play. It's garbage to watch, the lack of technical players or knowing how to open teams up after 4 years is pretty astounding.

I said it at the time but we never improved our 11 at all in the summer and it's showing.

Actually there's an argument it's regressed.

It has regressed - we lost our star striker

I wouldn’t be upset at selling any of the current squad.

Hall and Livramento are good prospects, but they would fetch big money. We do tend to overrate our players generally.

I thought my post was pretty balanced to be honest. Is criticism not allowed?

It’s not really a shit-show though, is it? A win or two in the league puts us back into the mix for top 6, we’re very likely to qualify for the CL playoffs, and we’re a game away from another cup semi final.

It’s nowhere near a “shitshow”.

Have you been watching this season never mind those cowardly tactics today [emoji38] The five year plan is based off getting top level European football every season. That's not going to happen this year. A defeat or two in the league could put us lower bottom half also. He gets beat next week against Chelsea and I would not be at all surprised if the club pull the plug.

And never mind the Europe, look at other teams having to cope with that. There was a few moments in the game where we had the ball and were just static up front, no dynamic movement to open them up just keeping width or standing around and easy to mark

I don't think the club pulls the plug, as they've no clue who would be next. They'd need a good 3 seasons to react to needing a new manager.

He's won the FA Cup and they're in the top 5. Hardly a flavour of the month thing

What's Howe done until now?

He has a higher win % with over double the amount of games Glasner has had. See where Glasner is after 200 games.

Robson should have been sacked in the summer - the timing was what was wrong with it.

The situations aren’t similar.

Also, not a single person other than Freddie Shepherd thought Souness was the answer.

Same applies. It is not a shock read some of the extreme reactions, although yours was more nuanced was still a shock to read you verging on the same.

I don't mind when we get beat by better teams but when you spend so much money and can't separate from a bunch of athletic try-hards down the road, then questions are going to be asked.

Not just them but West Ham and Leeds as well.

The risk is you can talk about transitional seasons, but will Tino, Sandro etc buy that

No europe next season and both of them will be away

Probably lucky that this season is a WC year and there's usually a fairly big turn over of managers post tournament so we may have options.

FWIW i think he would take the England job if offered again, his stock can drop just as quick as it has risen (see Potter prior to Chelsea)

Of course they won’t. Their agents will already be in contact with other clubs and in their ear.

He won the Euopa League with Frankfurt. You're talking about him as if he's just a flash in a pan

I’m not advocating for Glasner nor for getting rid of Howe, but Palace and Newcastle are very different clubs with very different budgets and expectations

The ‘not sure’ poll nonces need to get off that fence

More than enough data on Howe, place that vote

:aww:

I voted no, he’s got until the end of the season for me. If it continues to be this inconsistent and poor performances there needs to be a change. He’s owed time to sort it out imo

Yeap, him winning the FA cup was a much bigger achievement than ours with the league cup.
