Ref made one serious error for the pen but also on VAR. 

 

Apart from that all the big ones were correct unfortunately

This. Got it right today and with any justice we'd have broken them at 3-1. 

 

Despite comments in the match thread we didn't do our usual sit back and try to cling on. We stayed pressing and pushing all game which is great to see. Completely fucking robbed by the officials today. 

 

Play like that every game and we'll be absolutely fine. Eddie is the man.

First half was an excellent reaction to last week which I think was to be expected. Second half reverted to type a bit unfortunately albeit with some promising moments. 

 

We should've won overall though. One great free kick and a slip cost us. I did feel he waited too long to make subs again mind, it was clear they were getting on top early in the second half.

Needs to get the players playing like we did in the first half more often. He needs a run of wins now so the top 5 doesn't slip away from us. He could probably do with a couple of new faces in January.

Accurate. Team was set up incredibly and with better finishing/decision making it’s over at half time. They weren’t that good second half, just better than they were in the first. They got incredibly lucky there.

There were many reasons we lost that but you can’t deny Eddie not reacting to their dominance was poor management. It was an obvious momentum shift that needed countering. Why wait until they’ve equalised to do something about it?!

The defensive slip was really unfortunate and we created enough chances to win it, but if we’re discussing all the reasons we didn’t come away with 3 points, the above is a legitimate inclusion.
