I enjoyed it. But was just worried about future. This great win doesnt help by any means when we draw with Wolves or something. A team we should beat.

we did beat them in September, 1 nowt.

Totally, but that is not what I am saying. What I said was: I dont want him gone, but I hope he changes our way of play so that we control the game a bit more.

but apparently it was blasphemy.

Got you.  My view would be after a game as crackers as that one - and against a club that many of us older lads have a genuine decades-long dislike for - it’s almost beyond analysis.  Matches like that are what make the game so great - proper end-to-end with multiple comebacks and a last-gasp winner.  Sometimes the heart should just make the head go quiet.

I understand this. I also understand there is no point to analyse a game if we lose to Sunderland. Playing well there does not matter.

it was a great game as an entertainment, but I doubt that many would disagree with me if that had ended 3-3, which was very close. I was just thinking ahead, how we will continue to climb up the table. We have to win these home games this season.

So because we didnt, then that is fine?
Doesnt really work like that. Scousers won at SJP and I dont think many were happy about that performance.

Someday we’ll win a Champions League final in Istanbul style and this thread will have people complaining about the first half.

Some day we will win Dagenham and Redbridge in FA Cup 3rd round by 90+7 own goal, without a shot on target, and this thread will have people saying ”win is a win”.

Just watching it back on motd Poor fucker looked ill after that last goal had went in

Lives and breathes it he does

I worry about him tbh, burnout is an all too real possibility, quite apart from no-nowts critiquing every thing he does.

Leeds' first loss in 8, including 2 draws vs Liverpool, a draw vs Man Utd and wins over Chelsea and Palace. Immediately before that run they ran Man City and Villa close.

They looked a dangerous side all night and it was probably the worst time of the season to play them. There are 2 teams on the pitch both trying to win the game, lads.

Aside from that we've just won a thrilling game in the 102nd minute, probably one to enjoy in the hours afterwards rather than agonise over it not being straightforward.

One of our best ever managers won't hound himself out though I suppose :howe:

If this was meant for me, I enjoyed it. The win. But I know that Howe will also think how the fuck they put 3 past us.

Today Howe made good substitutions, positive ones. Tried to win the game, but could have lost it because of Pope. And kept Barnes on, because he is in much better form than Gordon.

It'll mean we've got three more points on the board, which is kinda the whole point. Our record against teams we should beat last season was fucking incredible. Honest to fuck man, lighten up it's class. [emoji38]

Yea, my point is that how wonderful this win now feels matters not if we dont fix the problems. Maybe I am whiner then.

3 individual mistakes led to their 3 goals nothing any manager can do about that..

This just is not true. We kept losing the ball in dangerous areas, so it was inevitable they would score.

But maybe I return here if these problems persist and we lose a game bc of that. We should have a better conversation then.

Halftime subs were spot on.

And his training is 100% the reason we can keep going until the 102nd minute.

He's had his fair criticism, but he's above criticism for this game, IMHO. Crazy game.
