Will always love Eddie for getting us silverware...but it's small club mentality to hold on to a manager when it's clearly long-gone stagnant. And it has. Be honest with yourselves.

We've had epic managers, lost them, and got others. Eddie has written himself into NUFC history. He rightfully sits at the head of the table, with Keegan, Robson, Rafa.

But he's ran out of ideas, or surprises. No one person is bigger than the club.

I honestly don't see how another Summer transfer period under him fixes anything.

So frustrating the lack of proactive changes in the second half. Miley hasn't played for months and plays the full game and looked knackered after 70mins. Same for Osula, we've got two strikers on the bench, use them. Elanga could have been on for Murphy who was completely ineffective. Just drifting along and hoping we hold onto the lead isn't good enough tbh

That is BS mate, we've have 200m+ To spend and he decided to take over transfers and buy absolute shite.

 

Another club with a better manager and a real DOF would've took us a step up this season.

What he has done for us is immense and should not be questioned. But he needs to go either now or in the summer to protect all the hard work and great memories he has created. If it drags on too long. He will then be remembered for the wrong reasons by a lot of people.

He'll be gone in the summer.  Had high hopes that we'd have a decent run in now we've had a rest and no more distractions, but nothing has changed. Such a shame.

It's been a full season of transition. Can't be fucked going through it all again though, you either back him or you don't at this point.

I feel for him today. For 80 mins that's as good as we played against Chelsea. He's not going to fix the attack overnight but we were functional away from home today. Then two moments of foolishness throw it all away. 

 

The problem he has now is that people have their knives out for him and there is fundamentally no fix for our biggest problem (our attack) until the summer. So we're going to have a lot of these tight games, and when stuff happens like the last 10 mins today he ends up on the wrong end of a result that has not been a good watch at all.

This is where I am at now, I still think he deserves next season after everything he has achieved here but we just look a complete mess. That was a Palace reserve team who care more about winning the Conference League and they still beat us.

Moan about the performance,.of course, but for us to want to change a proven manager, who can certainly change this around and has before, is all a bit daft.

Not to mention we’re not the only ones losing our best. Palace lost Eze. Next week we have Bournemouth and they lost like half their team last summer.
