He also deserves a real transfer window instead of this rubbish the club pulled last close season. Selling the best player and using those funds to buy midtable fodder and unproven players; an error that halted all of the club's positive momentum. However, in reality, if this level of form and performance continues even a month into next season with no Europe, he will have to be removed. There won't be any question at that point. If he is sacked during the season, options for a new manager will be limited and said manager won't be able to bring new players in. There is a side of me that thinks it would be more prudent to thank Mr. Howe for his services, release a glowing statement, and move on once the season ends.
