Get this, this is going to blow your mind... I respect Eddie for what he's done well. What I don't respect him for is spending 700m (or whatever) and having us deservedly 14th, playing derisory football for the last 12+ months.

13 other teams and managers have his number on that evidence.

you said half the league routinely does a number on Eddie

which just isn't true at all... even if some people are desperate for it to be

He's sounds like a bit of a tit to me.

Maybe he is, but his team gave Arsenal a football lesson last week, and that's after losing his best players in last 12 months.

"routinely"

Can't figure out how we've managed the finishes we have given that.

It was meant to be a play on areola being the surrounding part of a nipple, sorry.

💪 If it's not him who isn't with it, then it has to be the players. Some big changes needed and some big names leaving.

If he truly feels he has the energy, I’m fine with him getting the chance to turn it around next season.
I don’t think he has been found out or anything like that, just don’t think that his playstyle, mentality and his reluctance to rotate key players works well with a two games a week schedule.

We need more technicians in the mix alongside the athletes. The ratio has to be right. If we can’t blow teams away we need to unpick the low block and fill that gaping whole in midfield.

Unless the crowd chant against him he won't be going anywhere. I am not advocating that by the way.

Hmmmm. Your Username suggests otherwise.

In fairness, he's never gonna come out publicly and say he doesn't see himself being capable of taking us forward. Clearly his position will be reviewed by both him and the club in the summer, and may depend how the season finishes.

The managers who've come out and said they are leaving already, have been out of contract anyway.

That’s why I said «if» :)

Absolutely nowt wrong with any of that.

Of course there isn't but he's now worse than the devil in some people's eyes so whatever he says or does it's the worst thing ever

I didn't get anything new from that conference, not that I was really expecting to. He still wants to be our manager and he still wants to play the same way but wants a reaction from the team. Same thing we've heard all season. Nothing good or bad about that, but nothing interesting either other than the Bruno might be available line.

He absolutely needs a holiday, like. Hopefully the right people are in the right places so he can have 6 weeks with his family and not have to be dragged into fire fighting mode to save the summer. Maybe then, the intensity will be back

No reason why not when we’re only playing one game a week.

It's almost like we're not in April having played more games than anyone else in Europe, never mind the likes of Bournemouth who have played significantly less than us and have a lot less fatigue to manage as a result.
