A reminder that Woltemade deleted nufc from his Instagram account, Howe can't even be bothered to learn how to make an account.

The man is stubborn.

I'm Howe out currently but it's based on me feeling that a lot of the good players have lost faith in the project. After the three week break if we had come back with our batteries charged and had a good go at qualifying for Europe, I would have said, yeah just a bad season, let's go again next time round.

But I'm not seeing that, I'm only seeing players who look collectively worse than the sum of their parts. I don't mind a year where we go a bit stale, but it's galling seeing some of the sides who have barely a quarter of our budget outperforming us this season.

They look like they’re on the beach and/or protecting themselves for the World Cup to me. Not that they’ve “lost faith in the project” - and the season is ending in a whimper because of it.

Plus having nothing to play for ahead of the World Cup screams protect.

Still think we need a refresh in summer, however that might come.

Saturday feels big for him, our form is starting to get highlighted nationally now and stories asking if we could be dragged into the relegation battle will focus minds, particularly if we get another shit show on Saturday.

I still think we will part ways with Howe in next few weeks..Hopkinson already set out his stall looking to challenge by 2030.. He said few weeks back he expects a strong end to the season. Since then we have lost 3 games in a row that we didnt look like winning.

We could be behind Leeds after Saturday..Think he will leave ..Also think the meeting should be after Brighton game than before it

the reason is precisely why i'm against howe. it's all about physicality and athletes and that is eddie's huge limitation.

burn has been awful at left back and opponents always attack his side. the amount of goals conceded with him at left back is alot. and he has been skinned by wingers in so many games.

and yet Howe plays burn just for the 'physicality' he offered. and burn was utter crap as usual.

Are you a bona fide adult? I would like to tailor my response accordingly.

Howe likes what he has and he intent on sticking with it. He will make changes when he gets to 60 though, guaranteed.

Watched Tonali play for Italy in that game he started midweek after he was too injured to play for us a few days earlier and based on body language it was like watching Tonali's happier twin brother.

I agree but there’s not much reason for our players to be beaming at the moment. We’re losing a lot.

Their manager is getting slagged off to high heavens every week now by all the major sites, talk sports etc and if not slagged off then open talks about "should he go" and they have nothing to play for? Don't buy that for a second as if they had belief in him they'd be motivated by that.

Hold on a minute up until a couple of weeks ago some of the more deluded on here genuinely thought we'd still make Europe. Now we've been shit because there's nothing to play for? Which is it?

I don't think its a case that the players have given up or aren't trying, they just simply aren't good enough.

You look at that team that started on Saturday, Pope, Burn at left back, Willock, Murphy, Ramsey and Osula. That is 6 players who are simply not good enough for the level we expect to be.  You then have Bruno who has been injured for weeks but also getting older, Tonali who wants away, Miley playing out of position and Botman who has been a shadow of the player he was since he returned from injury. You look at that and its hardly a surprise we are struggling. We need a huge rebuild and the majority of them players should be nowhere near our starting eleven next season.

Willock, Murphy, Osula is the sort of front 3 you’d expect to see from a newly promoted club in a (ironically) relegation battle.

Honestly it’s the front 3 you’d put out in a domestic cup when you can’t be arsed with progressing, know you’ll probably get beat and need to give the first team lads a rest.

We spent £180m on new forwards in the summer like.

You’d think that would be the first question PIF ask Eddie during this coming meeting.

It’s the equivalent of dropping £180 million on a new golf course and then when they visit, the manager has got them playing on a pitch and put behind an industrial estate.

Reeks of mismanagement in both buying and selling players. Plus holding onto too many for loyalty reasons, and to me that's one of the reasons you need a good DOF to take these decisions away from the manager.

Fully agree with that, however saying the players have stopped playing for the manager or he has ran out of ideas is wrong. The simple fact is the majority of the players we have now just simply aren't good enough.

That doesn't make sense to me, we have more or less the same team that finished 4th, 7th and 5th. The players who have left have all been dead wood or bit part players other than Isak and we've brought in more players to replace them who at worst should be able to be squad players like the leavers were (though we all hoped for more). There's a glaring problem at CF atm but that doesn't explain why everyone else who has previously been a top 5 players is suddenly playing like they 'simply aren't good enough'.
