Hall got hauled at haulf time and hasn’t been seen since and now Howe takes potshots at Lil Lewis via the media

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark

He'll be off in the summer then...

There'll be quite a queue.

The other player mentioned, Pope also made errors that led to goals multiple times before he was finally dropped.

Got to be honest my faith in Howe has completely gone. I have seen nothing at all from him and heard nothing at all to suggest he’s the man to turn it around.

The comments the other week about not doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome, when that has been the story of our season.

Doesn’t take Mystic Meg or GregGShore to tell you how we’ll lineup tomorrow.

Just cannot believe he's thrown Hall under the bus after watching Gordon do whatever suits him all game all season long. Watch Tonali blow tepid and cold, CBs commiting football suicide, goalkeepers rush out and abandon sanity or stand like statues when shots come in. Wingers give the ball away constantly and seeing 2 fucking passes take out our entire midfield pretty much every single fucking game. But no, drop Hall and alude he's the issue we can't defend for shite.

Fed up with this shit now. He's a busted flush and tarnishing his legacy every week that goes by.

For what its worth I can think of loads of players that praise Howe and only 1 or 2 that give negative feedback.

He's great those that call him are lazy cunts, end of.

If Howe plays Burn against Minteh tomorrow then I genuinely have no idea how anyone within the fan base can want him as our Manager next season.

"When you play, you have to do enough to stay in the 11" is such a wild quote in this situation that I'm not sure if the context is wrong?

It was such a mad comment I would have thought exactly the same thing if I hadn't listened to the press conference.  But I did, and he was definitely referring to Hall with that quote

Yeah but Howe had a go at Hall?

Since when was Hall a 'lazy cunt'?

I've not seen him do that.

There are players who have given absolutely honking performances over and over and maintained their place in the team - Burn included in that, especially in that exact position earlier in the season.

Hall being dropped after a slight dip in form despite being arguably our best player in the months prior doesn't sit particularly well with me.

It's also concerning to me that he thinks we looked better as a result, as our entire left hand side of the pitch was completely blunt. We only looked better defensively because Arsenal were wank IMO.

I’m not comparing the two as managers or as decent human beings. But it feels like when Pardew held HBA to some ridiculously high standards and would regularly criticise him. All whilst playing the likes of Obertan and Ryan Taylor at right wing week in week out.

Pretty concerning quotes on the face of it. For a side that is already so poor on the ball, dropping one of our only good players with it, for one who’s arguably the worst is a strange way to go.

Surely that’s Eddie lighting the touch paper. Fucking crazy

For a long time i  have been of the opinion that’s it’s time for change in coach, For the best part 13 months we have all seen the problems and how it could quite simply be improved.
He will always be a legend for his achievements and everything along The way.
Never thought I would see us win anything in my life time, for that I will be grateful 🙏.

But with that comment he can fuck off, bang out of order. It’s clear the problems him and not the players.

He's made some bad decisions lately but surely he isn't lining Burn up against Minteh. Would be absolute suicide. I can't see it.

If he does prepare for a repeat of the FA Cup loss where Minteh burst past Burn to score.

Oooof, that’s a very poor quote from

Howe and also a complete misreading of our defensive issues

It's also not really what he said tbf, there's a lot in between those quotes where he praised Hall and said that the defensive problems/changes weren't a reflection on him. Very selective quoting really.

Eddie Howe haters first, Newcastle fans second.
