Current levels of negativity are almost surpassing the Ashley era. Perhaps we are the most fickle, entitled bunch of fans in the PL. Pretty horrific for a club thats historically mid/lower first division or second division, despite recent investment.

Was no different under McKeag/McFaul/Charlton or Shephard/Dalglish/Souness to Ashley/Pardew even when in two of those periods expectations were a lot lower and hardly any entitlement. 14th/15th in May and playong badly is a bad season for us historically and more so now. Were 9th overall and if we were 9th now we probably wouldn't be having these conversations.

When was this? the 70s because its never been the case in my life.  Ossie Ardiles grace period aside I remember it being half empty and toxic when we were at our lowest ebb.

Not sure why some of you are putting pointless energy on idiots like that. Enjoy your Saturday instead. Planet is full of dumb cunts.

If someone is an idiot I like to make sure that they know they are an idiot by telling them. Only takes 30 seconds.

Different era now. When the club are charging an average of £60 for an adult ticket you are targeting customers ahead of supporters and a customer will be more demanding. Especially one that's spending a lot of money on a product.

Aside from that when you're paying footballers £millions per year the very minimum requirement should be maximum effort. Not sure we've seen that lately.

After listening to that, I'm convinced he's been told he's here next season. He sounds like he's motivated for a Summer window, even excited I'd go as far to say.

I'm all in.

If he's choosing the players then I'm not excited. I have no confidence in him in that area now.

That’s a honking team selection. I’ve never criticised his line ups pre match before but given the form we are in, that’s a really poor line up.

Not helping himself

I can't defend Burn over Hall, I got the logic for the Arsenal game but absolutely not for this game

He's under the cosh and decisions like that don't help him one bit

It should be pretty clear at this stage that "height" was never the logic for the Arsenal game. Hall has obviously been dropped as a result of the Bournemouth first half.

Derby away was probably the best away day I’ve had

He's made some bad decisions lately but surely he isn't lining Burn up against Minteh. Would be absolute suicide. I can't see it.

No other manager in this league is picking Burn over Hall at left back. It’s so fuckin annoying. Canny wait for Burn’s hilariously bad forward runs today

Howe getting into the habit of deflating any enthusiasm or optimism I had for the game before a ball is kicked with that starting line up. He's got it all wrong, again.

If we lose this it will be hard to support Howe, even for the likes of me who is firmly in the keep him camp.

Thats quite the curve ball he played yesterday, like.

Making loads of noises about... 'evolving'... 'changing'.... Wissa and Wolte partnership'.... then boom, 1 change from last weeks starting XI.

5D chess from Wor Eddie. Make the opposition think he’s going to change things.

Looks like he's trying to play a very safe team. Probably in hopes of picking up a draw.

It's not exactly brave but I see the logic. I hate the selection FYI.

This is why Eddie is not a fit for this club long term. I feel. Why would any young player ever join this club.

Eddie doesn't play youths and if your technical and not tall and strong, no chance of breakthrough here.

I'm as unhappy with the lineup as most, but this is nonsense.
