Except for the entirety of Howe's tenure, that's too big a picture for many here

The bigger picture isn’t just where we were, it’s where we’re heading. And that’s the concern.

But today, we can at least put that aside and enjoy what looks like a win.

 @Kid Icarus is gonna shit in all our mouths tonight.

 Let's hope so. I'm more confident in the result than I was simply by looking at the line-up, but I'm still miles away, so until then:

Just swap out Jordan's involvement for out own self-destruction.

I won't belabour the point but our looking at our future solely based off the current trajectory precludes plenty of viable alternate (and more positive) paths that we've seen up until recently.

But like you, I'm just happy we're seeing some energy and application on the pitch right now, so I'll end it there

Happy we got the win but he got very very lucky, could've easily been another second half collapse.

Who got lucky? Howe? If we looked in any way vulnerable, it was down to individual errors. Fuck all to do with Howe

Desperately, desperately need a new Goalkeeper.

And a DCM who can intercept and win 50/50 balls, with some quality to launch fast counters

So not everyone needs to be so deep.

This. We looked better, but not great. Brighton had a lot of near misses. Pope’s dodgy number in the first half too.  Papering over the cracks for me tbh.

Every game in the 2nd half we drop regardless of indvidual errors or not, think it was mentioned we have the 2nd highest number of points dropped from winning position in a season in the league's history. Minteh puts that in and the trend continues.

Same story all season. The inability to do the basics puts us under massive pressure for no reason. Pope especially. Decision making too, Joelinton just needs to square it and it's wrapped up.

Bit of game management helped post 90mins but the second half before then was a very nervy performance. Only a few players seem strong enough to handle the pressure

Brighton are a very good, one touch football team. They were always gonna have a spell. We were put under pressure by stupid passes, mainly due to a lack of confidence.
