Where does tonight rank in terms of iconic away wins?

Only two in my living memory are on the same level as tonight. Arsenal (1-3) and Feyenoord (2-3) for me, under Robson ofc.

Mind, that’s only if we do the business at home.

Great question.

Ketsbaia on channel 5 v Zagreb up there for me aswell

I mean the result was good, but those subs on 62 minutes were less than adequate. Guess he's still a bit rubbish tactically after all.

They were integral to the 5-5-0 formation.

Troy Deeny talking about how everyone in the Newcastle locker room is "absolutely bouncing and can't wait to play the next one" - so stoked Eddie turned it all around and the boys are loving playing football again.

Explained in his interview a a few were really struggling at half time.

Really hope the club can find him another couple of players to assist him.

For me focus has probably shifted from cb to striker, with rw 2nd. Even one fwd comfortable upfront and on the wing would really help him out.

When was the last time we won 7 games in row btw? I had a look and we didn't do it two years back, so I'm guessing it must have been in Sir Bobby?

Incredible stuff.

We were all asking questions back in October, because we were legitimately not playing well. A few of us including myself were frustrated at Howe not incorporating Tonali into the side at that point but again, he’s proven that he was right to integrate him in the way he did. He’s come into the team seamlessly and hit the ground fucking sprinting, allowing Bruno to move up is the icing on the cake.

A lesson learnt again, and we will hit rough form in the future. Actively wanting him gone at any point was madness (Mourinho [emoji38]), but it’s the way emotion goes for some. Probably our best run so far under him? Coming from looking poorly coached up until Tonalis inclusion it’s incredible work.

Edit: also, I’m not sure I’ve ever witnessed a manager capable of maximising what he gets out of fairly limited players quite like Howe does.

Exactly, he can only do so much with what he has before hitting the limit. Obviously FFP steps in a kicks us in the knackers.

He's a bit of a miracle worker like and this run is amazing

10-1 v Bromley?

  Why not I’m greedy now.

Recon it could by the time we have played wolves though, some ones due a spanking this season.

4:0 Bromley

6:1 Wolves

Bromley, Wolves, Bournemouth, Southampton and Fulham up next with only Southampton being away. Could realistically win all of them.

13 wins in a row, new club record. I’ll like dem apples.

I can’t wait to see how we look vs low blocks with Bruno further up now, a few of these games are the type we’d drop points in before.
