Guest chopey
So the window shuts in a few weeks and we seriously haven't signed a player and the ones we apparently have lined up are not wanted by the current manager. One season ticket please.

Newcastle Fan
 wait though, isn't bruce only discernible attribute as a football manager his man management skills? Decided to play Robbie Brady ahead of Hatem Ben Arfa when he had him at fucking Hull
Guest Gonzo
 There’s something very dodgy about this. The chap has the same agent as Joelinton. It’s almost as if he has their next transfers lined up already for a minimum price which is double what they are worth now. There’s no other way Ashley would allow the club to spend its money on players unless there was a cash related incentive.

Decided to play Robbie Brady ahead of Hatem Ben Arfa when he had him at fucking Hull To be fair, Ben Arfa didn't want to be there and literally wasn't trying. Might be a bit of a argument about the type of tactics being used completely de-motivating him, but still he was putting no effort in whatsoever. mrmojorisin75
16 days to go. All summer, we have signed NO ONE TO DATE Shambles of a club. It’s great the ridiculous part of this, well one of many, is that no one in the media seen is asking the question: if they're getting rid of rafa because they're using nixon's scouting to ID players for a head coach to use, why haven't they had them all already signed? Don't wanna suggest there's anything illegitimate about any of our transfer dealings this summer but I don't, for a moment, believe this lad and Joelinton have been identified because they're the best fit for the club. We already know this mob are perfectly okay with agents' favours and what-have-you.
Disco
The need for quality reinforcements has been acknowledged by the board with the club looking to bring in two forwards. Steve Bruce also wants a winger and a left-back, with Augsburg’s Philipp Max understood to be one name pushed to them. But whether they would meet the £18million asking price for a player in a position where they already have Paul Dummett is another matter. Bruce has insisted that he will have the final say on recruitment but Newcastle’s Head of Recruitment Steve Nickson will be influential in whatever business comes next as he has been working on compiling lists of targets for months. Hull winger Jarrod Bowen – who was signed by Bruce from Hereford – is another who has been mentioned. A figure in excess of £10million would be required to prise him from the Tigers, who have admitted “interest” in the midfielder this close season which hasn’t yet extended to a bid. Not seen him but fully prepared to say there is no way a player called Jarrod Bowen will be good in the Barclays He's extremely highly rated down here. Gets into some amazing goalscoring positions for a winger. Not the quickest but always seems to be in the right place. I thought Leicester and Spurs were both after him. Guest
Pisses me off that they challenge it every time we’re linked with a left-back, as though it’s treason to suggest we could do better than Paulie fucking D.

mrmojorisin75
if bruce has an ounce of sense he watches vids from last season and tries to copy it, changing the 3 CB's would be fucking insanity

Would Almiron play just off Joelinton in that or advanced in a three? Hayden or similar plus Longstaff and they might stay up.
