HaydnNUFC
Charnley is a scapegoat for the fans for Ashley; Kinnear as "Director of Football" was exactly the same thing. Little to no movement in the transfer market = fault of the director of whatever the fuck to some of the fans. It's all Mike Ashley and it always has been. Any vitriol should be directed at him and him only. Aye, Charnley may be as useful as a chocolate teapot but he's only the messenger between Rafa and Ashley. Rafa's insistence of a good relationship with Charnley has maintained since his appointment back in March 2016; Ashley is the root of the club's problems and functions and has been for 11 years. Blaming Charnley for it is absolutely pointless.

Doesnt help that Charnley is the complete yes man and is seriously underqualified and experienced to occupy the role He's not totally to blame but is totally subservient and complicit in the shit that goes on for me

But as you say, Charnley is unqualified and is an absolute wet flannel, but the vitriol should be wholly directed at Ashley.
Ikon
He any good? Does he even improve the 1st team or just a squad player?
geordiedean
He any good? Does he even improve the 1st team or just a squad player? Decent player for a free but doesn't improve any position at all
Bimpy474
He's perfect for a club who are geared up for standing still and spending fuck all.
TRon
So we've managed to sign two players for the first team so far for a combined total of £4m.
Guest neesy111
No chance we are breaking our transfer record this season.
Charlies
Is it not saving money for more vital positions? I'm being foolish aren't I.
Guest neesy111
CM is a pretty important area isn't it? Hayden didn't pull any trees in there last season and I can't see diame having the 2nd half of last season like he had.
Bimpy474
Reckon that's CM's sorted unless we sign Sturaro, Shelvey, Ki, Hayden and Diame are the four for the two positions.

Kaizero
Think if we'd sign Berisha he'd be intended to be a #10.
Hughesy
How good is Berisha? Remember reading articles about him being a promising youngster ages ago, but he's obviously not made a big move yet.
