Realistic Transfer Targets (2024/25)

Similar issue to Phillips no? Fairly big fee, fairly big wages, low resale value. Not as bad.

Spurs have paid pretty low wages historically so he'd probably fit into our structure. Apparently Spurs don't want a loan, so it would be a straight transfer.

Seems like a much lower risk option to Phillips, without a huge drop-off in quality.

Not sure if he has signed a new contract yet or not. Seems to have everything but shooting quality (yet) and not expensive.  Would be perfect.

Even if he did sign a new contract he won’t cost much

Google search suggests he earns over £100k p/w. It's a lot for a back-up midfielder for us.

Spurs wage bill is considerably larger than ours which is probably why we didn't sign Maddison.

Jordan Henderson has had his contract terminated. He’s free to move on. Wonder if we look at it.

Chelsea are willing to let striker Armando Broja leave on a permanent basis, provided a suitable offer is received, says The Athletic's David Ornstein.  There is interest from a number of clubs in the 22-year-old Albania international including Fulham, West Ham, and Wolves

Would anyone take him here? I've never really rated him

Think Broja has a lot of talent but the injuries stunted his progress a bit.

Not too dissimilar to what happened with Livramento at Chelsea.

Could see him flourish in the right environment.

He’s one of the fastest players in the PL and a bit of unit. If he can fully recover from his injury, £35m could turn out to be a bargain. Long term Wilson replacement possibly.
We’ve been strongly linked with him before haven’t we?

Really rated him in his Southampton breakthrough season. He’s looked atrocious when I’ve seen him for Chelsea though. Wonder if the injury has done him in

If Isak has a weak link it can be his link up play with his back to goal. I think his best position would be behind another physical striker. Broja on paper would be really good for this or to use in a rotation with Isak

Just not sure how good he is

Chelsea value him at £50m [emoji38] aye, because they add an extra 50% minimum when they’re buying players. I’d say he’s worth £25m currently

My God ... they're not really looking for £50 million are they?!

Chelsea looking for top value from their homegrown players in Gallagher, Broja and Hall.

Makes sense if someone is willing to buy them for huge fees

If that’s what he earns it’s a lot for a back-up midfielder for anyone, that’s partly why he’s available. I really like him but suspect he will go abroad.

You didn’t sign Maddison for more reasons than that

If we paid 50% more than you, you reckon he would turn us down?
