Pokerprince2004
To be fair he has made two massive apologies and admits he was out of order saying what he did. Probably best to move on, he'll definitely have learnt a lesson

alexf
Don't think that game proved anything from a physical persepective. He still looks off it in that regard. But mentality wise that was much more like it. I feel like he needed that performance. It was close to stepping over the line where occasionally it looked like he was gonna start fighting a teenager. He seemed to be playing angry, but he had a wise old head on him in regards trying to rile them up to put them off their game. Part of that is by necessity now due to his lack of legs and he needs to equalise things against younger faster players. But yeah hopefully that is a turning point for him mentally and gives him a bit of confidence to perform close to his old levels again.

TRon
Thought some of his football was good on the ball, tbh we have missed that side of it. Love Tino as a defender, but Tripps is still light years ahead with the ball at his feet.

Head down running with the ball with little end result at the end of it.

But his final ball has been pretty rank, aye.

Erikse Posted Saturday at 15:29 Share Posted Saturday at 15:29 (edited) Was bound to happen really. Him having a decent game doesn't suddenly mean that he's back to his old self. Guys 34 and a half, so can't really blame him too much either. Shouldn't be starting. Edited Saturday at 15:30 by Erikse
M1tche Posted Saturday at 15:36 Share Posted Saturday at 15:36 Love Trips, but the defending on the 1st 2 is inexcusable.

KaKa Posted Saturday at 15:44 Share Posted Saturday at 15:44 The number of people that were hyping up this guy to come back in man ... What a wake up call today. Never believed the hype. His defending stinks. Slow, weak and timid.

Yes he's on the decline and been awful today but fans easy to forget he was our player of the season 2 years ago...
