We’ve picked up six points out of six man. It’s a ridiculous point of discussion. I don’t know what you expect people to say?

And I'm over the moon, I said I'd put him in on Saturday because I want our run to continue and the best way to do that is by having our best players on the pitch. Not sure why everyone's being so defensive tbh.

Lucky to win ? a offside rightly overruled and did dubs have to make a serious save ? villa were awful as a attacking force imho

TRon
He'd have been on earlier IMO if we hadn't been forced to make two substitutions either side of half time.

Due to enforced changes in defence I get your point and maybe we should give credit to the players for actually fighting for a manager unlike the idiot we got shot of

Based on that logic, Chris Wood is one of the best strikers we have had in years since he was on pitch when we had one of our best runs.
JNK
I'm gonna drop the bomb, he never was the paciest player and probably never will be, I told you guys that the EPL transition will take some time, since the tempo of the league is high every single game and he never played at that level outside the UCL. Let him adapt, Howe is doing the right thing, he probably would have come in a lot sooner today if those injuries hadn't happened. Like some people here said, he will play, give EH time, he seems to know what he's doing and most importantly, looks like he has the locker room in his hands, that's one of the best traits a manager can have, if he loses that you guys will go back to a poor run even with all the signings Edited February 13, 2022 by JNK

He's an "orchestrator" type of player, think the like's of the two above, Kroos, even Modric now that he's older, he'll make the runs, but he will not be that pacey, nor will be running that much with the ball, his game is more focused on making the ball run, finding that last pass before the assist, inverting the play, that's where he shines. Tsunami
Have to agree about an apparent lack of pace. Think his position is going to be more deep lying. There was a play about 10 yards from the dug out and he got not where near. Not a criticism but definitely an observation.
JNK
Another thing, even tho he's not that pacey, you can't deny his positional awareness, look at both runs he made while ASM was with the ball last game and one in this too, he was free to score in both but ASM chose to shoot. Today he gave ASM the option for a pass 2 or 3 times in the same play before ASM decided to shoot
