Thumbheed
Thought he did well when he came on, only player who was willing to take a high risk pass barring Schar. We need more risk takers in midfield if we're to break down the buses we're inevitably gonna be playing this year.

Groundhog63
Had a little chuckle at him walking about in a Wimbledon top at the end. Not sure who the topless Wimbledon player, clutching Bruno's no37, was but he looked chuffed 😂😂

TRon
Looked back to his best today, everything good was going through him. Felt like his efforts were a bit wasted with some of the sloppy stuff going on around him sadly.

Ndiaye knew fuck all about that and was pure luck to keep it out.
gbandit
He can’t hit a standing ball with pace, doesn’t ever shoot through his laces, always curls side footed. It can work if there’s pace on the ball already but he can’t generate otherwise. Hopefully we see less shots like yesterday’s from now on as it’s just a waste
Lotus
It’s a tough one with him. He's our most talented and creative midfielder but we play him furthest away from the oppo box as is possible in our normal set up. He’s also probably the most press resistant midfielder so that makes him 1st choice to get the ball off of the defenders. Ideally I’d like another player to be collecting the ball from the back and Bruno to be a link further forward.
ExiledGeordie
Looked a lot fitter and sharper in general which was good to see.
Kid Icarus
Said it before, but he strikes a ball like in those dreams where you throw a punch and it does nothing.
Heron
Unlucky not to score, good all round performance I thought.

This is why I was so keen on a creative RW. it’s also why I’m so keen for this team to press aggressively. We’ve built such a physical side. Go out and be physical then. JigsawGoesToPieces
The way he strikes the ball when taking shots and also at times passing is he seems to scoop the ball, if he had put his laces through that shot yesterday the defender wont have blocked it on the line Such a strange technique to strike a ball Edited October 6 by JigsawGoesToPieces

Possibly a futsal thing. Doesn't seem to use any backlift.

Reminds me of when you play a push shot in pool/snooker. Such a weird technique. It’s like he’s trying his hardest to leather it and it ends up being tame as fuck. That season Pogba went mad for assists and another with Ozil. Half of them were a pass to someone who blasted it in. Didn't Cabaye get an assist for HBA's goal vs Bolton?
