To be fair he has been accused of being a mag on there and the user name is just what I imagine someone desperate to fit in on there would use.

There are a few unhinged posters on the who I think only post to make the forum look daft. Away from the football most of it is reasonably normal.

They are trying to cope. They are on about how we won’t expand SJP despite in the last few days the club admitting that they are looking into what they can do, and multiple articles on how we are willing to spend up £4bn, with SJP being rebuilt at a minimum.

Meanwhile they are discussing how they will need an extension when they get promoted, and how the owner who only a few months ago was enemy number 1 is going to back them so much, that they will get it, and do improvements to the rest of their stadium to put it up there as one of the best.

Cant fill their ground. Discuss extensions.

Remember seeing that in the back of the Echo at work the night before the first game of 05/06 season, they'd just been promoted and had over 10,000 empty seats.

Can see where Bob Murray's sad one more seat philosophy comes from

Just caught the lunchtime news & there's a family from South Shields holidaying in Florida who're not too far from the hurricane. Thankfully they've not been directly affected by it and they're all OK. But...

The father gives a video interview for the news, stood on his balcony wearing a Sunderland home shirt  I thought it was just sad gravy stained mags who wore footy tops on holiday? Confusing one.

He's probably confused by the imminent danger, needs to hurl some crisp packets into the storm to be able to gauge the wind speed properly.

The fewm on the thread for today's ladies game is crackers. Already on about open top bus parades, Look North fawning over us and an open page spread in The Chronicle. They really can't handle any disappointment. Unusual considering they should be well used to it by now.

It's why Sad Mackem Bastards is the most appropriate nickname for them.

"You only come to see Newcastle" would appropriate today. Record attendance for this division and they couldn't even hit their 20k they'd been aiming for. Will likely be doubled at SJP - assuming the return leg is played there.

They'll be screaming at the kids leaving that shite hole. Blood on ya hands, ruining the game, buying the league. 😄😃😆 Wish I'd gone now.

It is being played at SJP and I'll be gobsmacked if we don't beat our record crowd by some distance.

Aye, you'd never catch mackems celebrating beating us by going on like its the biggest thing in their lives or make something out of previously uncounted sequence of wins in a row and go on about it to the point it becomes a mantra to cry to sleep over or having an owner go full kit wanker in the opponents boardroom after beating us for the first time in 10years or the crowd trouble after beating us at home for the first time in generations or owt like that

It'd just be 'job done, on to the next game' cos they're massive and classy

Looked like there was a couple of sunderland tops right in the newcastle end and vice versa

Only the online sunlund fans getting outraged by this I presume

Aye, I couldn’t make it today, but I ever me and you having this discussion earlier in the season, even thinking it should be home fans only in both fixtures, for the fear of the idiots coming out and spoiling it for the families, and young ones who go.
