RTG with a 75 page match day thread on the Newcastle game. It’s just page after page of hate filled rant. They need to get out more.

I'd guess that the officials were given Saudi brown envelopes. Despite the officials giving us nowt.

I can't see that thread but that's 1500 posts I think?

And 6 pages and over 100 posts on our team photo tonight (so far).

Definitely not obsessed with us.

Lol.

Their hatred is on another level. Seriously,

I worked with these saddos for a number of years and ANYTHING to do with Newcastle just sends them over the top.

RTG is a joy like, we lose and the thread is left in the open for days to run and run, we win and withing seconds it sent to the online shame dungeon where it is folded into another thread, there must be a mod with his finger hovering over the send button.

So a couple of posters on a bonkers forum is everything our fanbase stands for?

Okay mate…

I’ve been a fair defender of your fanbase who have remained loyal to your club over the years, however I think I need to point something out here.

Your city was the first to announce votes for Brexit, and is an outlier out of the countries cities who all largely voted against Brexit.

In recent councillor elections and the most recent general election, your city has returned close calls for an openly racist party. Again this is against the normal trend in U.K. cities.

There is a real prospect and expectation that your city will largely vote in those Reform councillors come the May election.

Don't think we should be casting aspersions on diversity, tyne and wear and the NE as a whole is fairly similar, maybe Newcastle a bit more diverse due to size but Northumberland, North Tyneside etc fairly similar.  Newcastle is probably the whitest of the bigger cities for example, compared to even Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol etc.

Central Tyneside, Newcastle/Gateshead, has far more diversity, in terms of ethnicity now, than when I grew up. Which is great not least for black, brown and other Geordies who were made to feel an unhealthy, and frankly galling, sense of perceived difference. Not sure about the banks of other industrial NE rivers.

Sunderland has an asian community too, and have an Asian mayor now.

I've just noticed they have a Woltemade thread. Creaming themselves that he "wants away" apparently. The best bit is how they think he'd suit the way they play much better than his role with us. Him and Brobbey would be class together 😆 Fuckin hell man.
