General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)

Don't mind the leaked one. Doesn't look much different. The seahorses look like they're on roids though.

Haven’t seen a single fan design that’s better than our current crest.

 

I’m all for change if there are benefits to it, but from what I’m seeing it’s nigh on impossible to improve on what we already have.

The current crest has quality and finesse, it just has to much finesse, too much detail crammed into small objects. If you start adding more and more into these designs it's going to become pointless changing it.

Both of them are fantastic. The top one obviously being a bit brighter looks better on the eye, especially with the seahorse tails standing out more. I'd be happy to move away from the banner at the bottom being blue, not sure it suits the rest of the crest. Albeit it does make it look far more historically accurate.

They look like someone's asked generative AI to give them the current crest but made by Fisher-Price.

4. They're all there.  It's the longest-lived one. The first three were pretty brief. (1969-76, 1976-83, 1983-88, 1988-)

Am I right  in thinking no one was too fussed when they changed the badge in the past, same with moving the stadium to Leazes Park in the 90's ( apart from environmentalists)? 

 

Is it people were not bothered or rather that the Internet didn't exist? Any one remember articles in fanzines criticising the club?
