I've given in to temptation and am heading up in December for the Leicester and Everton games. Do people think I'd be able to get a ticket for such games near Gallowgate flags if I jump online the day they go to general sale?

If not, would getting a membership make it a lot more likely? Loathe to pay it if I don't need to but I guess what's £40 on top of the trains and hotels, anyway!

I'm sure a season ticket holder on here will be able to help sort you some out before they go on general sale. In fact I probably can. Drop me a PM closer to the time.

You might want to keep an eye out on the TV fixtures though. They haven't announced the December games yet, so those two could yet get moved. Supposedly they're getting announced next Thursday.

 Cheers, that would be amazing if you could. I'd like to think they'll only get moved to Sunday/Tuesday at worst? For which I still intend to be in the city; planning a Friday-Thursday trip. I'll keep an eye out for the TV fixtures; tickets not on sale until mid November for those anyway.

Next batch of TV games will be announced on the 13th October, and I'd expect the Everton match to stay on the Wednesday (even if BT pick that game it'd stay the same day/time) and the Leicester game will be Sunday at worst I expect.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it in the 'not worthy thread'

Absolute disgrace.

The other knock-on effect if it happens is that I'm certain we'll have no Boxing Day match which will instead be moved to the night of the 27th - wankers.

Newcastle fans have a chance to make a stand here. Boycott it. We won't though, there'll be 3k there as always and Sky will be pissing themselves.

It doesn't, man. This time last year people were saying that Gouffran starting says all you need to know about Atsu. Rafa has his ways and it could just as easily be that he's integrating players slowly. It might also very well be that you're right, but it's not clear cut by any means.

Haha nowt, was just kidding.

I agree with you, every single player is at a different stage in their development and there's no point in ruining them by giving them too much responsibility when they're not ready for it, which is what we've done for years while wondering why it never works out.

Sounds like he's been trying to curry favour with the fans about playing through an injury. Sounds like a chicken.
