midds Posted yesterday at 13:06 Share Posted yesterday at 13:06 Criticism only hurts when it comes from someone you respect. Hence, I struggle to get annoyed with no-marks like Glendenning
Tiresias Posted yesterday at 13:09 Share Posted yesterday at 13:09 Don't care what Glendenning thinks lol more that the rest of members of the pod just let him intimate that criticism and nobody contributed anything else or called him on it, don't mind some discussion and all, it just riled me cos it was nonsense. I will calm down and realise that every fan will always find whatever other fans saying to be wildly inaccurate, I just wish he wasn't called on to be the person explaining how our season went

Decky Posted yesterday at 17:05 Share Posted yesterday at 17:05 Posting this video for the second time (Wilson thread). But it really feels like that moment when we found out we'd CL could be a pivotal moment in our history. Europa League vs Champions League are two different roads of attracting talent, keeping talent, PSR wiggle room etc. Where we go from here just wouldn't happen had Villa won, it'll be good to remember that moment down the road in years to come if it pays off. GEFAFWISP Posted yesterday at 18:09 Share Posted yesterday at 18:09 Nice Inter top that. Bit late 90s Coventry but still good. Also side note/question but I have, perhaps false, memories of a tv spot on tyne tees news with a taxi driver or something having a Biaggio printed home kit circa 95/96 (Brown Ale sponsor era at least) when we were linked, is this legit or complete mental fabrication? (they also had on Johnathan Wilson another mackem but do like him). But I was genuinely really annoyed when Max Rushden threw to him to discuss Newcastle's finishing position, whereupon Glendenning just essentially says no us newcastle fans aren't delighted with the season as we all would be absolutely expectant of achieving champions league intimating we are a bunch of entitled twats who think the club should of course be finishing up here, despite selling 2 players and failing to reinforce at all. Cunt. Nobody challenged that reading of it. I don't really care when they slag off our ownership cos I also think saudi arabia are cunts and the ownership model of the league is all messed up, but I really don't think podcasts that are meant to be relatively unbiased look should be asking the mackem about newcastle fans... rushden is a two club supporting sycophant also

This happened and was on Look North. My Grandad used to record absolutely everything to VHS and that was something I’d not seen before. One day I will work out how to convert the VHS to something relevant

It happened at the end of the final "Black and White" VHS video that came out quarterly for a few seasons. I used to have to hunt all over Glasgow in HMV, Tower Records etc to get copies of it. Del Piero wasn’t all that in 1995 Think the Baggio interest may have been verified by Keegan in his book Pedantic but Del Piero had taken Baggio's place in the Juventus team that season hence why Baggio was available (went to Milan that summer). Remember some talk of Del Piero even in exchange for Shearer in the Gullit era around the NTL takeover talk time. Think Del Piero had fallen out of favour by then Edited 21 hours ago by Jonas
