Just seen this. I don't - I'll check it out cheers!

The full version is like 99p a month I think. Although I'm not sure entirely what the difference is between that and the free version I just buy it because it's great.

It's really useful for tracking all the games and grounds you've done, but also for finding games to watch when you are going somewhere as you can search by date and location within a radius.

The paid version lets you go back through the archives and select games you were at, otherwise you have to manually add them, I just paid for one month to do that then went back to free version.  I remember all the early games I went to from late 80's - late 90's but the years after that when drinking becomes hazy.

That makes sense. Definitely worth paying for it even just for a month then. I don't mind seeing it as a donation because it's such a great app for what is a very niche hobby. [emoji38]

Odd question but does anyone know who used to make/post all of the dodgy Bobby Robson in heaven memes? With angry Matt Ritchie and Alan Barnes and stuff?

Sounds like @TBG

Starting to feel like Mitchell is getting used as a bit of a scapegoat now

Re: Isak's contract and Trafford's deal, it tallies quite closely with what was being reported last summer. Briefs were going out that we had said no thanks to additional contract discussions and were very relaxed about the situation.

Trafford was rightly a none starter as soon as we did our PSR fiddle.

The reporting on the Isak contract seems to be muddy, and it wouldn't be unusual to not offer a contract with 4 years left. Also I'm not sure why that impinges on our ability to offer him a contract now.

Regardless of all of this he clearly wasn't the right fit for us, but it does feel like a right fit for that role won't be easy to find.

Trafford - I don't strongly disagree with the decision, but it ultimately boils down to how confident you were that we could sell a player for £6m-odd in the following 11 months. We bottled that pain then, but now find ourselves in a different kind of pain.

Isak - sure, discussing terms with him then was unusually proactive, and turning tail on that was a normal enough thing to do. And we can still offer him a deal now. But all of the aforementioned, along with general developments like another successful year having passed, will affect the outcome of that. I think everyone agrees the club felt like a colder, less promising place to live and work at for much of the last year, despite the best efforts of some.

But I don't think the reporting was muddy at the time, my recollection was all the usual media figures - like Douglas and Edwards - sang quite a consistent story about it. So I think that matches up well with it being a specific call by the Mitchell-Eales regime.

My recollection about the contract was it was mutual agreed to wait until the end of this season. That being said my recollection likely comes from the athletic who are client journalists for the club

It was definitely made to sound cosy enough, kind of 'mutual', no dramas etc. But there was certainly an emphasis on it being us in no hurry to get things done as he already had a safe contract. At the time, it could just have been taken as false pride from us of course, but going back to how I started posting in this topic, it matches up with what's been said in recent days.
