I can’t be the only one who barely remembered the matches from the Covid era(s)?!

I'm surprised you remember any matches at all tbh, Paully.

I don't remember most of them but I do remember the first one (Sheff Utd), West Ham away opening day, Burnley ASM masterclasses home and away, Southampton (Willock debut), Leicester away (won 4-2) and the final two with limited capacities vs Sheff Utd and Fulham. The rest all blur into one given how abject many of the showings were.

Watched that with a Liverpool fan and a Chelsea fan at me uni house and also had Joe Willock win me £120. Glorious stuff.

And that ^ I remember tbf; when we had a stoppage time equaliser ruled out at Anfield only to score another one immediately after. Stuck I think a tenner on Willock next goalscorer as soon as he was subbed on.

Anyone got a link to that fan-made music video where that guy was complaining about everything wrong with the club during the verses, then in the chorus it was all fun and games about ASM? Think it was a remake of some classic French song

Can barely remember anything from those entire years, yet alone anything NUFC related.

That season was my personal nadir. Lowest I've ever felt and COVID/lockdown on top of that. Grim.

I think also February onwards that season is why I'll always have a massive soft spot for Willock; despite him being poor for a while now these days. Him and ASM were all we had at that point (as Wilson was injured mostly, again).

It's probably why I've never warmed to Willock. I wanted the whole thing to burn but there he is snatching points for us at Anfield, the fucker.

Why would they move us to a Monday when we're one of four clubs with a chance to play in a cup final the following weekend? So annoying.

Absolute joke mate hence my sarcastic comment about Palace home (don’t want to tempt fate!)!

It's bad for the away fans obviously but forget that for a second. I know they are separate competitions and the real answer is the PL couldn't care less / only cares about money and making broadcasters happy, but from a sporting standpoint:

Saturday - Liverpool

Sunday - Spurs, Arsenal

Monday - Newcastle

The only possible final matchup where one club doesn't have a rest advantage is Spurs v. Arsenal. If Liverpool make it they are guaranteed 1-2 days of extra rest. It's a joke.

Liverpool will be playing midweek in the CL (last 16).

Liverpool will be playing the 2nd leg of a Champions League tie; same for Spurs if they stay in the Top 8 of the Europa (6th currently).
