Rich
Class interview, clearly going to be number one given how long Howe’s been after him.
Yorkie
Really enjoyed that. Absolutely love that he's got the Bootham Crescent goalposts, naturally. High hopes for him, think he'll be a really good addition.

BlackandWhite
Hard to think of anyone who’s had an easier debut for us. We were so dominant today, we’d still have won with no goalkeeper playing.
Guest HTT II
Hard to judge as he had fuck all to do, collected every high ball and cross mind and I like how he looks to release the ball so quickly.

Expand Aye, the obvious moment that stood out was his throw to Maxi after collecting a high ball. He absolutely bolted out as soon as he grabbed it and launched a fast, flat ball within a second or two. It should be even more prominent when teams come at us more and we have space on the break. It's been pointed out on here but Debravka has a habit of running to the end of his box and shrugging his shoulders.
David Edgar
Pope's throws were world class. As you said, lightning fast from catching the ball to getting it to our player in a good position. I do think Pope looks weak with the ball at his feet.

He'll have sterner tests than Forrest this season but I do have more confidence in him than Dubs, especially when claiming crosses and at corners. Guest
That Forest corner where they all started outside the penalty area and rushed in. Watching Pope come out and claim it, I thought Dubs still wouldn't have tried.
David Edgar
That corner "I've got a plan. We'll float a slow hanging cross to the 6 yard box. And give Nick Pope all the space in the world to catch it."

He dropped a clanger part way through the second half. He had absolutely nothing to do, but thought he looked great at the quick throws and poor with his feet. Seemed fairly comparable to Dubravka imo, but time will tell who is the better keeper. Unsurprising really having come from Burnley under Dyche where 90% of the game is played in the air. 54
That corner was hilarious, it's just the juxtaposition between Forest going "We have something that's going to proper bamboozle them", to Pope just calmly coming out and collecting the ball in the middle of his box
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
That corner man. When they went outside the box Trippier was marching round, finger on head in a "think"/be alive to it gesture to our lot. Loved that.
gbandit
There was nothing wrong with the idea of the corner, makes it harder to mark but the delivery has to be perfect to make that sort of thing work otherwise it’s a way lower percentage option
Fantail Breeze
Those floated corners are absolutely terrible, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a success made of them and 95% are easily collected by the keeper. Corners need to be hit with pace.
