With a limit on how many times you can transfer.
AyeDubbleYoo
You need identity checks on the supporter account as well though really, because a registered supporter presumably doesn't have to be a real person at the moment.

I also know of genuine people who buy them after season begins due to their financial circumstances changing meaning they can go to some games that season. The loss in revenue would be a drop in the ocean. Lots of clubs either cap memberships or take them off sale once the season begins. If they do that they could almost eradicate touting after the 1st couple of games of the season. At present the system is clearly broken with the amount of tickets going on sale at ridiculous prices on these 3rd part ticketing sites.

AyeDubbleYoo
Yeah, clearly there isn't a business case for fixing the touting, same as their isn't a business case for sorting the website out. The argument for doing it would be moral and about the fan experience. It will cost the club money, at least in the short term.
Paulmn
Bringing the lad on Saturday to our first successful ballot result. Does anyone know what you're allowed to bring into the stadium in terms of food and drink? Trying to avoid the inflated prices inside the ground. Thanks. Just don't bring it in a bag and you can probably get away with anything. Not sure on the actual rules if they find anything.
AyeDubbleYoo
Yeah, you can bring anything if you don't show it too obviously. I bring in a large coffee and a chocolate bar or something most games, just don't hold it up when I go through the turnstile. I actually don't know if food in your bag is even banned, the guy I sometimes sit with in the Leazes always brings stuff for his children. It seems fairly common but I don't know the actual rules. AyeDubbleYoo
I don't know the bag rules. They do check bags but they might just be checking for dangerous stuff.

I once saw a bloke and his lass whip out and eat pouches of vacuum packed hot dogs at half time No bun, no sauce, no onions. They both guzzled about 6 cold hot dogs each Would have been about £100 worth of scran if they'd bought them on the concourse Legends Edited October 28 by bobbydazzla
Adam
Putting this in here as I can't find the other thread about tickets. Does anyone know how to only show current tickets on google wallet? I've been adding the cup games to my account, and now I have 12 tickets all in a random order that I need to swipe through. Some of them are last seasons champions league games but I can't seem to hide them. Any ideas?

If you go in to the individual tickets then hit the three dots top right, the bottom of the resulting menu should include an option to archive or delete it. AyeDubbleYoo
Yeah, you have to remove them one by one, on Apple anyway.
NEEJ
It's another thing that makes the new digital ticketing system a thoroughly miserable experience. It's been nothing short of a shitshow on the turnstiles each time I've been this season.

Spend in the club shop? Cup / away / women’s tickets was my perhaps misguided assumption, the ticketing platform is still pretty siloed - feels a stretch that they could apply credit elsewhere. Unless it’s just a discount code.

LFEE Posted Wednesday at 11:16 Share Posted Wednesday at 11:16 (edited) 1 hour ago, duo said: Is this different to Season Ticket holders selling a match day ticket or cup ticket? I would say so. It’s members buying tickets then returning them. Imagine also those buying away tickets deciding to returning them also but not 100% sure. ST holders selling their tickets don’t actually involve money unless they are upgrading category during the transfer process in which case the club gets the money direct unrefundable as i know it. Maybe curbing touts returning tickets back late in the day possibly without expense to themselves. I’m sure they will clarify soon! SteV Posted Wednesday at 12:14 Share Posted Wednesday at 12:14 It might also be an effort to try and prevent people just blindly applying for every ballot, without considering whether they can actually attend or not. Not sure I agree with it mind, given ballots are about a month before games, there’s obviously plenty of time for something to come up that prevents you attending. Probably not too much of an issue for those that are applying for every match anyway, as they’ll likely get an opportunity to use the credit, more an inconvenience for those that only try to go infrequently.
