Pablo
Failed again for Spurs. Applied for a few tickets together via every ballot so far and only ‘won’ tickets in the ballot 3 times, last one against Forest on Boxing Day so doubt the number of applications have dropped unless I’m just extremely unlucky - can’t get into SJP even through this rough run of form. I always try for Cat2, but was put into Cat3 for one game. I’d happily have the worst seat in the ground. I’ve picked up the odd ticket through resales, which means going alone. i just find it frustrating and demoralising. Last years system was much better, cos I cared enough to make every effort to be online at the prescribed time. This 2 day window opens the floodgates to the dont really care if I get a ticket or not crowd. Most games I’ve witnessed folk who don’t know songs, more interested in their phones and unwilling to stand in safe standing sections. Wrt season ticket holders they aren’t much better, with their little cliques handshaking, and leaving 10 mins before the end of the game regardless of score and telling me to sit down or be quiet for inevitably wanting to cheer on the lads. There’s a lot to fix
Earp
Anyone want to swap an adult and child ticket for Spurs for the West Ham game (if that’s possible?)

wormy
Thought this may be an interesting bump as we celebrate/commiserate our attendance/non-attendance of the final home game of the season. What were people's final results? After applying for every match, I've well and truly paid for my early season good fortune. Went from 6/10 success rate to 2/13. A total outcome of 1/3 can't be grumbled at really but it feels worse when they all came in quick succession and I've attended one match since the turn of the year. Wouldn't have minded them spread a bit further out (as long as I still got PSG ).
Pablo
Sorry about the second half of the season, that must hurt. Me and mine have won tickets through the ballot for 3 games this season. 3 games out of 23 applications I think. I feel ripped off. Maybe it’s karma as last year and before it was attainable to get tickets on a match by match basis, for fans without the luxury of a season ticket. I don’t believe demand is any higher now than it was when I saw us vs Southampton, Spurs, Arsenal and Brighton at the back end of last season, it’s just an inept system which is nothing more than a game of chance, and which could be rigged. At this point NUST aren’t really representing Members, so I hope the club will be transparent about how many tickets were applied for in a category by category basis, and let us know how many tickets were available in each category. I want to go to every game next season and have more than enough money set aside for tickets, refreshments etc. At the very least I want to be able to apply for tickets in every category next season, not be limited to a ballot for one area like NUST forced when the initial system was changed in August. Fair, my arse.
Likelylad
Obviously living away from Newcastle I'm not going to get to every game but only won 1 ballot this season. Burnley 2-0. Manged more away games (Dortmund & Blackburn) than home. Might sack it next year unless they make some adjustments.
Kilcline
Been fortunate with it this season. 8/18 in the ballot. Did CL and 2 PL games in hospitality - bought all those at the start of the season and had a run of 5 or 6 "wins" in a row and was convinced it was somehow weighted due to that, but like with @wormy above after that I got significantly worse. Managed to otherwise nab general resale or Barracks resales so will have made it to every game, hell of a lot of time on that sodding website spent refreshing that would probably have been better spent elsewhere, but the things we do etc... SteV
I’ve mentioned this before but I will again as I genuinely think it’s something that would be feasible for next season should the membership and ballot process remain broadly the same. There’s clearly a significant number of people on here with memberships. If someone was to put the time and effort in to organise some kind of group to ‘pool’ the memberships, I think it would surely give people a better chance of attending the games they want to. I guess it probably wouldn’t really work having people in who want to go the majority of matches, it would more be for people who looking to go to <10 a season. If you got 30 people in the group, you should be averaging a return of about 10 tickets per game (if the clubs ballot stats are to be believed), which would hopefully accommodate the amount of people that wanted to go to any particular game (give or take). Obviously you’d have to come up with a way of determining who gets tickets for a game where the number in the group wanting to go exceeds the number of tickets won (a secondary ballot? ??). Probably also have to come up with something around what areas get applied for etc, but I’m sure someone on here is clever enough to devise something sensible. Guest
It sounds like any season tickets not renewed will have that seat returned to matchday allocation (it also sounds as though there will be no 'new' season tickets on sale).

Groundhog63
Had 4 tickets after applying to all but 1. Actually went for Platinum for Brighton but flunked that as well. Usually Cat1 or 2 Notwithstanding the issues other people have had we're happy enough. Hey fucking ho

LFEE
Now the last ballot for this season has been drawn it be nice for everyone to give a simple success/attempts ratio from it (not re-sale but comments on that obviously welcome). If you remember at the start of the season I did a calculation going off rough numbers of STs, seats available, memberships etc and thought everyone should get around 4-5/19 league games. Just curious how far off I was. Seems like @SUPERTOONhas had great success and would be interested to know further details (Do you live local or out the area, Categories you generally applied for etc). HaydnNUFC
I've applied for every match and been successful in; Burnley PSG Palace Chelsea* Fulham Luton Wolves West Ham Everton* Spurs Brighton* *These were successful through a mate of mine's account who bought a membership but now lives abroad. Allowed me to apply for myself through his account and have done for every match as well has through my own from the Chelsea game onwards so have had 2 entries per game. The games without an asterisk were my own account. I have been able to get to every home match this season through getting sorted by mates, F5ing and resale. Despite this I absolutely loathe this system.

In terms of games I applied and won 2/2 champions league games (PSG and Milan). Edited April 19 by SUPERTOON

Jill
Not quite a spreadsheet but I've just had a glance through my emails to work it out. Actually applied for more than I thought I had. Applications: 13 Success: 6 (Brentford, Milan, Forest, Luton, Wolves, Spurs) Categories (success/applications): 1 - 0/1 2 - 3/7 3 - 3/5 Never tried to get a ticket in the resale. Overall I'm fairly satisfied with that return. I'd love to go to more games but appreciate I gave up that right when I cancelled my season ticket, and I obviously didn't apply for all as some I knew I couldn't make it to/didn't have the funds at the time.
