Open Wide For Some Soccer!

I f***ing hate how they always schedule Mexico matches for southwestern cities.

They came to us in Columbus last year - blinding day out.

Columbus is the de facto home of the national team. Always cracking support.

Goddamn, did we get anything from the ref? Johnson's goal looked on too, had a terrible angle but from what I'm reading it seems like I was right. Also thought Parkhurst was just as shit as Beltran, but others apparently don't. That stadium is fantastic and one of the best atmospheres I've been apart of.

Neither fullback impressed me. Both would get manhandled at the WC. Gonzalez also had a poor game at CB, which is becoming a real area of concern.

Beckerman and Wondo both deserve to be on the plane imo. Wondo's movement and positional sense are outstanding and this was one of the best games I've seen from Bradley, which had a lot to do with the fact that he didn't have to worry about Beckerman behind him. He broke up almost everything down the middle and kept possession ticking along.

:snod: Shouldn't be this happy about a 17-year old, but he's got a higher ceiling than Green. There's a group we have of about 20 highly rated young attackers, if only a few of them make it out we could be genuinely good in 6 years or so.

I'm happy with this. Only player I really don't want to see in the final 23 is Davis.

And you know he's gonna be there. Klinsmann loves him. He's a dead-ball specialist and nothing more at the international level.
