If he gets his little move to Liverpool I’ll be attending church every Sunday, the mosque every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the local synagogue every other day, on my hand and knees, praying for the mother of all ACL injuries

I've never been convinced Liverpool would go 'all out' for him. I think they want him but maybe not to the point where they'd make it a difficult decision for us £150m +, especially after what they've just dropped that on Ekitike.

They've got no intentions of paying the going rate, itd the reason why we have this situation.

Will absolutely piss myself if they leave this dickhead looking like a monumental cunt and don't even make a bid.

This is a win win for Liverpool - as if they get him they have secured a WC player. If not they have successfully disrupted our pre-season and impacted our ability to strengthen with all focus being on finding his replacement.  They have also messed with the head of our best player.

Back to RTG son, just see your previous posts, bye bye.

So predictable because you don't like what other members say they are automatically a wum or makem.

I was probably a newcastle supporter before you where born.

maybe its best if you stick your head in the sand or preferably up your own arse.

This has probably fucked with the heads of most of the squad.

I also want to see Joelinton and Guimaraes giving him a serious reducer if he turns out against us in that ugly red shirt. I dont think they will have the balls to play him in 2nd round vs us in case they get it done until. ut we would meet them later on or maybe in Carabao/FA cup too.

imo they make  bid on Friday to mess with our weekend but also because squad will fly back on Sunday evening imo. time for uncomfortable meeting with Howe/staff/squad early next week. even if he has some tiny injury the first team doctors need to properly check as it may all be big bullshit. what if he doesnt get his transfer until 29th of August, he will not train at all? surely not possible.

Brilliant from Simon Jordan here, absolutely rattled Hope at one point, really got the hump here.

Why is that brilliant from Jordan? Hope is exactly right in what he was saying about Mitchell not being the right fit but better than no one.

I expect him to sign a new contract after the end of the transfer window, together with Bruno and other purple patches

we can’t get much players in anyway, why not just give them a pay rise and put an end to the current crisis? Yea I know it will impact our PSR headroom but right now it’s probably the best solution

fuck the scousers

He isn't getting a new contract man, it's over for him here.

not yet, only when Eddie said so. The only positive I can take from this summer is apparently PIF has total trust (if not over) on Eddie. If Eddie wants Isak to stay and get a new contract, PIF will listen.

You seem to be totally disregarding the fact Isak has zero interest in signing a new contract here.  He doesn't want to be here.  He wants away

The player only wants Liverpool

He won’t be allowed to go this summer, simply no chance, due to team needs and financial aspects. And Eddie won’t play him until he has changed his attitude. He is simply facing one year self-inflicted suspension.

We have the cards, not him. Once he realize this he will evaluate his options again. Signing a new contract with a release clause (say 180m) is the way to go. Look at Gibbs-White. Once the player knows the move will not materialise they will change their stance. Just like what Eddies said, footballer life is short. If Isak knows the move to Liverpool is 100% dead, he will choose the take our money.

This summer we ain’t short of PSR capacity, we don’t need to sell Isak first to bring in players. in fact it may even favour us to sell Isak next summer instead. I genuinely see no point selling now.

I'd love to know all the facts, not sure if we ever will, but 3 years left and not even half way through his current contract. He's stamped his feet, he needs to be put in his place and an example and message sent out to him and other teams/players that we are not to be messed with.

In fact what he’s doing (training at Spain) further proves that Liverpool is unlikely to make a bid we would accept. He is in desperation mode and try to force a move asap. He knows what would happen if he failed to move after the transfer window.

normally players would do so if they have 1-2 year left on their contract. The financial impact of 1 year suspension is too huge for any club to take.

Isak, 3 years? No chance.

If they come in with a bid (no doubt low ball) we should either set a price of his worth to us. That's one they cant afford (Minimum £150 million), or just tell them to fuck off. The rest is on him then. Let's see what he does next. 3 years left on your contract, get back in your box and sort your fucking stamina out whilst you're at it!

He'll just put more pathetic performances in like he did last year after the final.

Who cares though? I wouldn't sell him to the Scouse period. The way they've gone about this is a disgrace and this is the price they must pay.

He can rot for this season if he chooses to but he won't be doing it in Liverpool.
