It's going to be a long summer!

Least we know we have the ability to break our transfer record if we want to.

Keeping Isak is the priority but God knows who we move onto next if we miss out on ekitike - the drop off to DCL 😮

Wissa, Mateta, Watkins...

There's a few names before we drop to that level

They have obviously been given encouragement from Isak, if they are bidding.

I think he’d be open to it but won’t push it this summer.  Mainly as we have Champions league, without it he would have been off this summer. He’ll leave in 12 months imo

I think some could live with that. Dependent on Ekitike coming in etc

I'd rather sell him to anyone but Liverpool. I'd sell him for half the price to a team in a different league. If he goes to Liverpool, he'll score 40+ goals a season and never be injured again in his life. We now have the London and Merseyside (also heavily London-based) media mafia doing their best to unsettle our star player. They can Foxtrot Oscar.

Aye, tend to agree.

He'd be mad to shut it down, improved wages, a chance to win major trophies, etc. Doesn't mean he'll push for an exit though

All of those put us backwards if we lose Isak

Lets be realistic, Isak wouldn't say no to Liverpool if they coughed up the money we demand.

One of the most popular clubs in the world and the current champions..

Dont think he is the guy to push for it though, especially when things are going so well for him here.

Honestly man I’d LOVE to sign Ekitike, keep Isak and smash the shit out of them at SJP in August.  This is a huge opportunity to send a huge message this transfer window and for the first time show the power we can have. Really hope we go for it and fuck them all

I mean it’s a hell of a presumption from Liverpool that they'll just sign a lad , that they’ve very publicly demonstrated is nowhere near their first choice like.

Yeah that's where I'm at with it.

If this is the plan they're just telling Ekitike he's their second choice and they see him as a pawn in getting their first choice.

He should be telling them to get to fuck.

Ekitike puts us backwards if we lose Isak, everyone does

Saying any other ST puts us backwards is absolutely true. But we wouldn't be spunking the Isak cash on one player, that would pay for a billy big striker and then 3/4 real top quality players over a couple of summers. Which in turn makes our squad alot better.
