Hot take! The chairman should already be in control given there's no CEO or Sporting Director!

certainly in my workplace and I am sure others we have managers who gatekeep the senior managers and will do anything to keep the senior manager from being brought in.

that is almost certainly happening here.

If your thinking of giving up on NUFC over this then lightweight doesn't come near, you won't be missed

Try Hereford in the cup 1973

It’s not about giving up on nufc. It’s football and the premier league and their bullshit rules I’m getting tired of. It’s utterly pointless

Agree. Some people just have this innate drive to whine.

Things are looking better for us than they have in a long time, and football itselfs has been what it has been for a long time, soulless.

Fair enough, but that feeling when we won the cup is irreplaceable

Worst case scenario here is for the club to get into an ego-battle and try to look like we're fighting tooth and nail to keep him, only to then sell him anyway late in the window when he spits his dummy even more.

Worst case scenario is we sell to Liverpool.

Or we keep him for the next season and he has constant "niggles" and never plays.

I’d rather do that and then flog him to a Euro giant than have him go to those grim Scouse melts.

I wasnt us to offer him nearly what he would get at Liverpool and put a 150m release clause in the deal.

As if he would agree to that. It’s about more than money. People can say what they want but it’s far from money alone.

In my view this all boils down to two things:

- He’s got three years left on his contract

- In all likelihood there will be a better market for a striker of his calibre next summer

Keep him for the coming season and then let him leave. Even if he’ll be unhappy what can he really do? Feign injury for the full season?

This has been my train of thought. World Cup in 2026 should focus his form.

There was a comment on a tiktok video I saw saying something along the lines of 'don't worry Newcastle fans, we can't stand this bald nonce either' with like 125k likes.

I wish people wouldn't post his crap on here. It doesn't warrant our attention. Please delete.

It's all very well getting attached to the likes of Beardsley, Waddle and Gaza and being extremely depressed when they were sold, equally being invested in Miley and Burn and the other local lads at the club, however getting attached to the likes of Isak or Tonali or the rest of the current players whose number one priority is themselves and always will be, that's not clever and will just lead to the anger and depression that lots of the supporters are apparently going through. Isak wants to leave, sell him for a fortune and we can all sing fuck off the next time we see him.

What Euro giant? Who is gonna pay £130m-150m? The giants of Europe are mostly PL teams. Their is no Serie A or Bundesliga team, 1 Spanish team (Real) and PSG. That is it.
