Even if he’ll be unhappy what can he really do? Feign injury for the full season? Name me those clubs?

At the end of the day all footballers playing for a club like us will have their head turned by agents and other clubs doubling their wages. This is not new and will happen again in the years to come, if Madrid came in for Tonali on £250k a week he'd do exactly the same... Thats not really a counterargument to him being a mercenary. I do think players are different myself, some of them buy more into the feelings and passion around the club than others. And when it comes to Isak I think he just saw us as his current employer. Are we openly a Liverpool fan today or have you reverted back to your Newcastle charade? Hard to keep up. PSG for one, their only hole is the lack of a true World Class No. 9. Isak would slot in very nicely with Dembele and Kvaratskhelia. Harry Kane will be 33 next year and Bayern continue to just pile up the cash. He's likely too old for Chelsea, but if Manchester United can get European Football again they'll throw themselves into the mix. Their is no Serie A or Bundesliga team, 1 Spanish team (Real) and PSG. That is it. Bayern Munich looking to replace an ageing Kane. Atletico Madrid - flush with money from KSA sponsors. Spent £110m on Felix so could easily do more on Isak Barca - revamped Camp Nou, need for a replacement for 39 year old Lewa and showpiece signing Just a few flaws in your argument. Given you signed up Saturday, presuming you’re a Dipper.

He might just be the highest earner in world football so that should leave Barca with some money to spend and a no9 spot to fill. Real might be tempted to move Mbappe back to left wing which means they might need a striker. Kane will be 33 next summer and Bayern will be eyeing up a replacement in the near future. This is all pure conjecture I know, but all I’m saying is the market right now consists of one club. In any case that’s the wrong circumstances to sell him. Minhosa
He’s to go now. We can’t have a situation that he has manufactured result in him being placated with a pay rise and gentleman’s agreement to leave next summer as that then becomes the playbook for Tonali, Tino, Bruno etc etc Get what we can and move on. Sickening behaviour from him and his agent.

I don't think that is the case. He is absolutely spot on when he says Quote They also have to send a message to Isak, leaving the dressing-room door open in case he changes his mind or a deal can’t be done. Messaging is key now. Such as: it’s because of how well Isak has done at Newcastle, how much he has been supported in his goal sprees by talented team-mates, developed by an outstanding head coach, and backed by one of the most passionate fanbases around that he has become one of the most admired players in the world. Newcastle did that for Isak. They’ve helped make him this superstar.

Kid Icarus
The "we sold Cole to Man United and rebuilt" line is such an own goal. We sold him to the Champions who then beat us to the league title twice, went on to win the treble with him in their team, and dominated English football for over a decade ffs.
