Fair enough, but I can tell you for a fact. They were not sound as fuck in the 80s.

Not been overly fond of LFC, though I massively respect Spirit of Shankly for what they do and the Hillsborough groups/families for what they’ve done and been through. Their fans were mostly sound before and after the final but again their online, likely non scouse fanbase make them unbearable.

This is my experience too, the genuine Scouse fans of both Everton and Liverpool I met in my 20 odd years in the RAF were without exception all sound as fuck. Their online presence is as bad as anyone else out there though, often driven by foreign fans in my experience

I've told this story before but that was game where I was punched in the face by a kid about 12 and the coppers pissed themselves laughing. Absolutely humiliated as he ran back into a block of flats. Hated the cunts with a passion ever since. 😆

Think I’m in the unique position of 1) harbouring quite a lot of disdain for Scousers and 2) not feeling remotely aggrieved that Liverpool may bid for one of our players, which they’re perfectly entitled to do. I’ve found the hysteria over it completely bizarre and embarrassing.
