It’s been obvious he wanted/thought he deserved an improved contract last season. He’s never really seemed fully invested in the club/project. He was always destined for the top.

However, thinking he’s too big for us and effectively going on strike shows him up for the cunt that he is.

We should keep him out of principle. The ways he’s acted he doesn’t deserve a move. Not to mention selling him to a competitor would be a massive mistake. It’s not as if we are looking like making waves in the market whether we sell him or not. I don’t think many of us feel we will use the money wisely as we seem unable to really make any signings whether we have money there or not.

Fuck him basically. I feel he’ll suffer more than us if we let him rot.

He’s been on strike for a weeks

He’s disrespected Eddie, his team mates and the fans

He’s 100% downed tools since the League Cup final

I 100% want him gone

So what, loads of the worlds top players have done similar and been denied the move, then went on to have a mega season for the same club that they wanted out of. That's the path that we should be taking too.

It's really, really simple. We tell him he's going nowhere and if he wants out next summer he's gonna have to play his way out of the club.

I bet that those who are saying get rid will be the ones crying the hardest when he's a sensation for the scouse cunts.

It really isn't that simple when you are dealing with people and in particular a football squad in which squad unity is essential to success.

I completely get that feeling of wanting to fuck him over but in reality when dealing with man management, while they are still around in a business, there remains a cloud over everyone.

He's engineered it at the behest of the dippers. I don't give a shit if he's a snake, he's also probably the best striker in the world right now and letting him go to LFC basically guarantees them another glutful of trophies. I can see past the sulks of the player and know what is best for NUFC. And its not him going to dipperpool.

I’ll trust Eddie Howe on this one who’s had numerous conversations with the player tbh

For all the arrogant and smug behaviour of their 'fans' on social media, Liverpool have already shown their hand - they're desperate to get him. Look at the lengths they're going to with all the Romano stuff. We know they need a forward and can't go into September without one. They're banking on him throwing his toys and us buckling under all the pressure. But time is running out.

There will come a point - 10, 15, 20 days later that Liverpool either raise their offer or switch targets. We'll have to reject, because we now have no one left to go for, and because prices keeo escalating for alternatives, which is why we need an even bigger fer to sell Isak late in the winfow. I think we went big for Sesko with a mindset of selling Isak, but also knowing that Sesko was the last realistic option to replace Isak and make a clean break.

If Liverpool have to give up, and they will if we hold our ground, they'll go big for someone else. If that happens, I believe we can start reintegrating Isak because there'll be no point in him downing tools and sulking. He'll know he needs a good season for a big foreign team to come in and pay what he wants.

Exactly this. The idea that he can't be rehabilitated back into the squad is pure bullshit.

Exactly and not just man management. Isak has to win the fans back over, he’d be asked about his future in the press every week, he’d be linked away every week. It’s going to bring a huge cloud over the football club and will be a distraction.

id love him to stay to get it up him & Liverpool and all their cunt fans but to what end? Has to be what’s best for the club

This all over. We've built a squad unity that gets us through tough situations. Every one on the same page ready to fight for each other. Isak threatens to fuck that all over.

That's the most depressing thing in all of this for me.

Nonsense man. If he scores the winner in the dippers game in two weeks time he will be a hero again. Everybody will know he's on his way out next summer and will just embrace having another season of his talent at our disposal.

I couldnt give a flying fuck if Isak doesnt love NUFC but I know for a fact if he is made to stay he will have another great season for us. He's an ice cold mercenary and will play his way out of the club.

It's why I'm watching what happens here until the window closes. I don't care if he refuses to train or hands in a transfer request.

Unless Liverpool show they have the money it takes then he should be going nowhere. Keep him locked up in the reserves for all I care. I reckon he'll sharp see things differently once the window closes anyway.

Liverpool still have to come up with an acceptable fee reflecting his status as one of the world's best strikers, regardless of what Howe thinks.

Doesn't look like a suitable replacement is available do he will have to stay until next season. All the agro will be forgotten 2 weeks after the close of the window and he will be back in the team and banging them in. Anyone saying get rid is either a Scouser or an idiot, stop being babies.

Might even be able to shift him to Real or Barca next year and avoid seeing him playing for YSB

I think you're putting a lot of faith in someone who clearly wants to be well away from the club. There's nothing to indicate he'll knuckle down and play his absolute best. He can't even go on tours with his mates the sulky dick.

Makes no odds, all of his current behaviour is targetted at getting the move. Once that door is shut you just watch how his attitute changes. His entire career will be on the line and he's not going to wreck that, especially when he's playing a season in the Champions League.

I'm hoping you're right but I'll take some convincing.

the way I see we should just tell Liverpool to fuck off or demand closer to £200m, an additional 50m for not allowing us Ekitike

maybe entertain discussions of a 150m swap deal with Ekitike next summer

gotta rinse them for as much as possible

fuck them

Wait it out until Liverpool get impatient and sign, I dunno, Rodrygo (for possibly a bit less). Then shop him around to PSG, as a trade for Kolo Muani or Ramos; or even better Real Madrid, as a trade for Endrick.

I like Endrick, and he's going to love the vibe here with Bruno and Big Joe as his mentors.

Exactly. Again, people are getting caught up in the emotions of the moment.

Isak didn't skip the asia tour because he suddenly hates Eddie Howe and all of his friends on the team.

It's a desperate move to try and force something.

I've said it before, despite what the media will try to convince you, we are in the best position here on paper.

Isak is contracted for 3 more seasons. Nothing he can do about that. And liverpool are running out of time to decide whether they should just pay through the roof, or move onto someone else before the window closes.

We dont need their money this summer. Not from a cash flow perspective, or from PSR. We have the ability to spend and strengthen the squad (whether we have the staff to do so is another question)

And Isak as an asset for us holds his value even if we hold onto him for a year against his will.

That's why your seeing this intense pressure in the media and from Isak and his agent. It's them playing the last cards in the deck with time running out.

The question is, do we have the will, foresight, and leadership in place to see this out and handle it properly? I doubt it currently
