Club should begin the process of erasing all memory of him around the place, act like he never played for us.

Shame the fucking cunt scored the winner for us at Wembley.

If it wasn’t for BDB’s rocket header it wouldn’t have been the winner! Team effort it was. Whether he stays or goes I won’t let that take away the amazing result that day ever.

I'm at the point where I couldn't really give a fuck where he goes, just as long as he goes. The emotional gutpunch of him going to Liverpool has already happened, and now he's behaving so hideously, it gets easier to deal with. I accept that whilst it's not ideal selling him to a theoretical rival, I don't think it's a reputational disaster providing it's for a gargantuan fee. And Liverpool will get there.

Right now he's the antithesis of everything that's made this squad so special and successful so he really has to go. And I'm excited at the prospect of having two new strikers, chomping at the bit, to get invested in. If it's Jackson, cool, bring it on. The guy from Porto, sure, even better.

He didn’t appear in any of the pre match video on the big screen at the game today.

THAT is the key piece of this. Under no circumstances send him there for below market value. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.

I would have thought that the main reason Eddie does not want him involved in the team training is that they will be working on tactics and team play and as long as there is any possibility of him leaving for Liverpool it would be mad to have him involved particularly as we play Liverpool so soon.

That's probably the biggest cuntery of all really, the way he's driving the price down and putting Howe and the rest of them in a harder and harder position. We can't possibly keep him but we can't possibly sell him under value.

Literally not had a bigger arsehole since Owen. Can't believe it tbh.

Yeah, feels like a return to the team won't happen now. Turns my stomach that those Liverpool cunts will inevitably get their way, and we've been mugged off all summer to boot. Really has been a shit window

This does feel like an Eddie move, given how he benched Isak for the league defeat vs them to not give much away for the cup final.

Your memory is not serving you. We won because of a 98th minute penalty that Murphy put away.

Yup, I agree. He is trying to drive the price down but fuck that. We accept the negatives if they don't pony up the serious cash.

What an absolute bellend. He's well and truly hung Eddie out to dry.

He's basically spat in his face - Eddie made him the player he is today.  No one else.

Seriously, Isak has been an absolute plank and his behaviour stinks.

Don't know if others agree but I didn't think he would be like this towards Howe. Obviously not a personal thing towards Howe, but come on Aleks, really poor! Yet Howe has handled it amazingly. Bet he is absolutely livid with him, inside.

Don't think I want to see him in a black and white shirt again, but we absolutely shouldn't give into his childish tantrum. Sign two strikers, let him rot in the reserves and sell him to anyone but Liverpool next June.

Unfortunately I think we need the Isak money to do all we need to do in the market

Bad move if they accept less. Make it up in June of next year. No retreat on this point.

If we keep him and try sell him in June clubs will have us over a barrel

As long as we flog him by 30 June 2026, it's all good.

Really limits what we can get for him tho. Clubs will know we are PSR desperate

He's covering all bases I think, there's just very little to take from it and whether they're his true feelings or he's saving face/presenting a unified front in his usual style.

Whether he is covering all his bases or not, he absolutely should have approached it like this. I’m not for looking for a replacement at all, unless it’s the extremely unlikely scenario that Isak gets benched rather than sold.

But given our inability to even do that, then Howe should absolutely publicly leave the door open to Isak. What else should he do?
