Regardless of his behaviour and contract situation, it suits us to have him training away from the squad at the moment.

 

It's likely he's albehind the rest of the squad in terms of match fitness and he's also highly likely in contact with a team we play second week of the season that he intends to sign for so he needs to be kept away from the tactical side of things.

 

It probably suits him as well to be able to avoid the awkwardness of being around the squad while this is going on.

 

If he's still here on 1st September that changes for all parties.

We won’t ‘open the door’ as Howe has said, he’d want him here and rightly so as he’s a top three striker in the world.

 

Isak won’t force the move publicly, and like say not turn up to the training ground at all which then leads to disciplinary issues etc.

 

Liverpool are not making a new bid, despite their season officially starting this weekend. 
 

One of those three situations needs to change, or we continue as we are up to end of window (or a point one of those does change).

I'm not selling him to Liverpool under any circumstances. I'm surprised no cunt else has bid for him given he's one of the best strikers around.

If PSG move on both of Ramos and Muani for £50m fees, they’re the logical side to make a big money move, even though they’re less prone to those deals these days. Isak is as close a player that would compliment their flexible attack with Dembele, Doue, Bracola, Kvara.

His arse will also be twitching. Going on strike is a very risky approach to take when you only have one potential exit route on the table and they’re messing about with low ball offers whilst the clock ticks and he’s ostracised by NUFC, stuck in no mans land as the season starts 

 

I think Liverpool will be the least concerned party in all of this. They’ve caused the most aggro and created this situation, but aren’t going to struggle on the pitch if Isak doesn’t join. And that thought must be making Isak nervous the longer it drags on

Isak was supposed to be the next big thing when he went from Sweden to Borussia Dortmund. 

He didn't make it in Germany and almost failed to live up to his potential after going to Real Sociadad. We took a chance. 

 

Last season watching the games and now proof he fakes injury, he totally turns off for matches and doesn't appear to have a good relationship with eg Gordon. 

 

If Eddie indicates the group has a problem with him and seeing his strike - Isak might have serious character flaws. 

 

Makes me want to cash out now much more

This is it for me. Stop this talk of new contracts too. He’s here on his current terms until next summer unless Liverpool pony up £150m. That needs to be the message to him, his advisors and the Scousers.

 

Out of curiosity how much is Isak’s book value set to drop over the next twelve months? Because of amortisation could sell him for a bit less next summer and it be better for us financially.

I think based on his cuntish behaviour and also the points you mention, the management, squad and a large section of the fans won’t be sad to see him go

 

But it needs to be on our terms

 

If a European or Saudi team makes a decent offer and we’ve already signed strikers, then I’d sell him immediately and I would personally pay for his taxi to the airport

Of all the players who have ever pulled this shit, at this club or others, Isak is the one who has surprised/disappointed me the most. He seems so grounded, so intelligent and a really decent lad. I guess he's showing his true colours now. Such a shame but it's a big lesson learned
